The governor should be impeached and face treason charges for saying "Islamic laws are practised in Zamfara". Nigeria is a secular country with a constitution that is the law of the land!

Very well spoken Mr Governor but you failed to tell us that the eight muslims you claimed were killed are "lesser Muslims". To me, the real issue here is ignorance and the prevailing culture of violence that has bedeviled Nigeria (particularly the North) from inception. Possibly, the victims were screaming allahu Akbar as the fire was been lit on them. The same Allahu Akbar their would be killers were on about while setting up the fire. Which of these two parties was Allah going to listen to?

Similar to the case of the poor kid who was chained down in a "white garment" church in Lagos by the pastor who incidentally was his father! The kid must have begged for God's sake, in this case, the god being Jehovah. The same Jehovah in whose name the pastor was supposedly casting out the thieving spirit troubbling the boy. Who would God listen to?

Who's right and who's wrong? The guy that allegedly defamed prophet Muhammad, the guy who rescued him from the mob, the mob who burnt down 8 human beings or the politicians in Gusau and Abuja who use this matter for photo-up sessions to shore up their own political positions?

A lot of people have been falsely accused of blasphemy by others who have an ax to grind with them. This is in order for that person to be mobbed.
