biggy26: I prefer chapati with tea. So you prepare chapati in Nigeria? Kenya have an array of food but their preparation is off for many of us. l add palm oil and spices to their githeri, cooking jollof rice/fried rice and preparing salad is so cheap here. i eat ewedu soup alongside wheat/semolina on a regular basis. |

biggy26: I live in Kilimani. I switch between semolina and wheat, there are folks who bring in garri, plantain and palm oil from Uganda. I get my Okra and ewedu from Nakumatt. I get ugu from a Nigerian family living along Ngong road then Egusi, ogbono etc is brought in from Lagos. I buy their already cooked beans, l just add palm oil and seasoning then prepare the uji to be thick as our pap, beans and akamu is ready! 2 Likes |
