“At the moment it must be crystal clear to all discerning minds that the President’s widely acclaimed magical body language has lost its presumed aura and efficiency. His no-nonsense demeanour is neither instilling fear nor commanding respect and loyalty from among his cabinet members.”—Senator Dino Melaye, APC Kogi-West, in a national newspaper, September 5, 2016. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/09/nigerian-leader-moment/ 37 Likes 2 Shares

Sobering. As a supporter of Buhari and the APC, i read this article with an unbiased mind, and there is a lot of home truth in it. Truth is, and after i just read this article is that we have a serious problem in the APC. We need to get our acts together, and come back as a family. This is not looking good. 33 Likes 4 Shares |

Government of confusion CONFUSION AT THE NATIONAL & STATE LEVEL. The main aim of APC as a party coming together was just to grab power by all means. All of them had different motives....... Buhari's aim was to take power back to the north, taste power as a civilian & attack is perceived enemies. Tinubu's aim was to expend is political power from Lagos & Osun to the National level. In every democracy, the President is the recognised leader of the ruling party and, by extension, the nation as well. But in APC they have 2 leader BAT & PMB At the states its not different: Lagos State - Ambode/Tinubu are not in good terms with the predecessor Fashola (AKA borehole & website specialist) Kano state - Ganduje(Mijin Hajia) not in good terms with his predecessor, Kwankwasiya. Zamfara state - Abdullaziz Yari(Traveller) not in good terms with the state legislators lead by Sanusi Rikiji. The governor was almost impeached recently. Kogi state - Bello(Fair Plus) & his wife have been stoned separate times in Kogi state. The incumbent governor was not even a candidate at the main governorship election. Edo state - Adams Oshomole & his deputy are at logger head. APC candidate Obaseki was single-handedly picked by Oshomole. Bayelsa state - Timipre Sylva clashed with Timi Alaibe during Governorship primaries & the rest was history. The National Assembly has its confusion too: from Leadership tussle, CCT, Missing budget, Budget reappearing, Budget denials, Budget padding. 41 Likes 3 Shares

Karma is the Nigeria's present leader of our democracy! Buhari truncated our previous democratic system because of his greed and lust for power then. The democracy he truncated then in 1984 miraculously found its way back in 1999, 15 solid years later. The power greedy man who truncated democracy then, showed up again to be a democratically elected President, because of his antecedents, he was not elected until 2015, no thanks to Jonathan who made the majority of the citizens to vow to vote for anyone who is in opposition because of his too soft style of leadership. Karma is a bit ch, she never forgets, there's no way Buhari is going to have a smooth ride from his supposed followers because of his antecedents and the type of person he is. He's reaping what he's sown! Anyone who sows wind shall reap whirlwind!!! KARMA! KARMA!! KARMA!!! 53 Likes 3 Shares |

ificatchmodeh: You can't tell me about the state of the country, i see it everywhere... I am not happy about the state of the nation, but i am not sorrowful or in mourning because i prefered one person to the other & slyly deriving perverse pleasure from its economic mishaps.. I only sent your "wail" wish back yo you...I have a strong aversion to the word!! Wail can never be positively employed, rather use milder words to register your distaste for the state of the nation.... God did not do us bad, we are the architects of our own successes and failures... God didn't ask us to spend like prodigal drunks making merry in the time of bounty harvest and then lament in lean times... We didn't make hay while the sun shone, now in biting cold, we have no shelter, it's not GOD's doing.. 7 Likes 8 Shares |

We really have to accept that Buhari has failed. His weak, old not strong enough to handle the elite. He sure have the mind of changing the country but what he didn't realize is that he can't handle civilians the same way he did during the military regime. He only did the first attempt by arresting dasuki and that's it. The Nigeria elite discovered his weak and they used it against him. 4 Likes |

Strong men dont always get things done in any country, strong institution do. But we need strong people to build these institutions. Strong men come and go, it is these institutions that remains. I Buhari doesnt build or get people to build strong institutions in nigeria, e.g the police, judiciary, military, economic and financial institution. Its just a matter of 4 or 8 years he will be out of office aand everything goes back to chaos. We need to take our minds away that a single individual can save nigeria, its like trying to salt the river by throwing a big of salt into it. Let us build institution that can last many regimes Buhari may have good intentions, so did Gej. But its only strong institutions which also include political parties can aid him succeed 11 Likes 1 Share |
