C'mon. APC was never a family.
ACN was, but not a APC.

ACN was a party of progressives with absolutely nothing in common with the other party of neo-feudalists that it merged with.

The chickens are simply coming home to roost.

Do you mind explaining to us how the Association of Conmen in Nigeria, ACN is a progressive party?
What has been there achievements and policies in 17 years of continuous administration of Lagos state to warrant such a label?

Progressivism

Progressivism is a philosophy based on the idea of progress, which asserts that advancement in science, technology, economic development, and social organization are vital to improve the human condition. Progressivism became highly significant during the Age of Enlightenment in Europe, out of the belief that Europe was demonstrating that societies could progress in civility from barbaric conditions to civilization through strengthening the basis of empirical knowledge as the foundation of society.[1] Figures of the Enlightenment believed that progress had universal application to all societies and that these ideas would spread across the world from Europe.[1] Sociologist Robert Nisbet defines five "crucial premises" of the Idea of Progress as being: value of the past; nobility of Western civilization; worth of economic/technological growth; scientific/scholarly knowledge obtained through reason over faith; the intrinsic importance and worth of life on Earth.[2] The term is often used as shorthand for a more or less left-wing way of looking at the world. Beyond this, the meanings of progressivism have varied over time and from different perspectives.[3]
The contemporary common political conception of progressivism in the culture of the Western world emerged from the vast social changes brought about by industrialization in the Western world in the late 19th century, particularly out of the view that progress was being stifled by vast economic inequality between the rich and the poor; minimally regulated laissez-faire capitalism with monopolistic corporations; and intense and often violent conflict between workers and capitalists, thus claiming that measures were needed to address these problems.[4]

In all this, to think that buhari contested for this position 3 good times baffles me.
He cried on national tv the second time he lost.
winning the 3rd time only to come and conduct a midia trial on Dansuki will make one understand he a specialist in failure.
To cap It, he turned around to tell us that change begins with us, this is very sardonic.

God did not do us bad, we are the architects of our own successes and failures... God didn't ask us to spend like prodigal drunks making merry in the time of bounty harvest and then lament in lean times...

The same people in APC today pretending to be saints were the ones who were in PDP then. They were also the ones who took Jonathan to court, insisting that the Excess Crude Account must be shared. Today they are all shifting the blame. My joy however, is that Jonathan has refused to join the fray of trading blames.

We really have to accept that Buhari has failed. His weak, old not strong enough to handle the elite. He sure have the mind of changing the country but what he didn't realize is that he can't handle civilians the same way he did during the military regime.
He only did the first attempt by arresting dasuki and that's it.
The Nigeria elite discovered his weak and they used it against him.

I'm sharing this because it is thought-provoking. I wish you could forward it to every youth known to you, so they can have a piece of it. And let the sleeping giants rise.
"My Dear Nigerian Youths", by Prof. Isa.
I am very angry and that is why I am addressing you.
You are the source of my anger and I want to vent my spleen- maybe not at you directly- but at the arrogance of your ignorance.
You sit in front of a computer and rant all day through social media but with every click, you make money - not for yourself - but for Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook).
With every megabyte of data you spend complaining and maligning, you make stupendous bucks for Etisalat, Glo and Airtel.
Over the next two years, the number of Nigerian millionaires will jump by 47% but most likely you will not be among because you are too busy whining and complaining. And yet about 60% of Nigeria’s 170m population are below 35 years. Oh, what a waste! By the way, Mark Zuckerberg was 19 when he started Facebook.
Africa’s youngest billionaire, Ashish Thakkar, is 31. He escaped from the Rwandan genocide and relocated to Uganda where he started an IT business.
Collin Thornton, who made his millions by fixing bad computers and setting up Dial-a-Nerd, is 35.
Adam Horowitz, an 18-year-old entrepreneur, started 30 websites in 3 years before he became successful.
The only thing you have ever started is an online petition. Have you heard of Jason Njoku? He’s 33 and the founder of Iroko TV. He received $8m investment into his company just a few years ago. What he does? Sharing the same Nollywood films that you spend hours to watch online. He didn’t just hang around waiting for Buhari to make something happen or blaming Jonathan for not making anything happen.
Kamal Budhabhatti was deported from Kenya but while on the flight, he thought of the opportunities in Kenya. He found his way back after 6 months and today his company is valued at $30m. He’s 36.
Have you heard of Chinedu Echeruo? Apple just paid $1b for his app. He’s a Nigerian like you and all he did was attempt to fix a problem. But for you, the only thing you attempt to fix are your nails- and your hairdo! Chinedu moved to New York in 1995 and found it difficult to navigate the city with ease so he developed HopStop to fix the problem.
Stop listing all the problems - we know them already but what are you doing about them?
Awolowo was 37, Akintola was 36, Ahmadu Bello was 36, Tafawa Balewa was 34, Okotie-Eboh was 27 and Enahoro was 27 at the time of independence of Nigeria.
In 1966, the first coup was led by Kaduna Nzeogwu (29) and stopped by Murtala Mohammed (28), TY Danjuma (28), IBB (25), Sanni Abacha (23) and Shehu Yar'adua (23).
It brought in Yakubu Gowon as Head of State at 32 and Olusegun Obasanjo at 29.
You are in your 40s and you still sag your trousers.
Of course, you know Linda Ikeji. You’ve spent hundreds of hours on her blog laughing and commenting while she smiles her way to the bank.
She’s just built a house for her father in the village- just by you clicking on her gossip and sharing.
Your day is not complete without a stop by at her blog. She was as broke as you are but she turned a hobby into a business.
Are you that void of understanding?
You think those politicians have any regard for you?
That is why I referred to the arrogance of your ignorance at the beginning of this diatribe.
You have a false estimation of yourself. You have an over bloated ego.
You are only as good as an election ticket - pure and simple. You are only good to be used and discarded like a used ballot paper. Who keeps a used ballot paper anyway? That is why they only remember you every four years.
The word CHANGE belongs to the masses not to selected few, my friend sent this to me & I couldn't resist the urge not to share this.

Buhari has NEVER been a LEADER at anytime in his life and will UNLIKELY TO BE ONE. I said unlikely because you never say never. But highly unlikely that Buhari will ever be a leader. In 1984, it was Tunde Idiagbon that was calling the shot essentially.

You cannot give what you don't have. Buhari is a friend to Abacha ' who was not corrupt' according to Buhari. You show me your friend , I will tell you who you are.

APC = ASSOCIATION OF PROPAGANDA CONFUSIONIST

The 2015 election was not about change BUT power must go back to the north , because they are 'BORN TO RULE FULANI MASTERS'

Everything else in between is 'packaging and marketing'.

They will never fulfill 25% of their promises. It is all a big scam.

Karma is the Nigeria's present leader of our democracy!

Buhari truncated our previous democratic system because of his greed and lust for power then.

The democracy he truncated then in 1984 miraculously found its way back in 1999, 15 solid years later. The power greedy man who truncated democracy then, showed up again to be a democratically elected President, because of his antecedents, he was not elected until 2015, no thanks to Jonathan who made the majority of the citizens to vow to vote for anyone who is in opposition because of his too soft style of leadership.

Karma is a bit ch, she never forgets, there's no way Buhari is going to have a smooth ride from his supposed followers because of his antecedents and the type of person he is.
He's reaping what he's sown!

Buhari was meant by the north to lead he north fitdy, before Nigeria. That's why he came to power.
Buhari and north's foremost interests last election was to secure one Nigeria and preserve the political structure and governance system that benefit northern Nigeria politically and economically. He is doing that.

The north did any tricks on the books - from Boko Haram to Chibok story to Sanusi Lamido Sanusi falsehood about missing $50 billion missing to Sanusi alliance with Amanpour of CNN Live broadcast a few days to last presidential election where both teamed up to lampoon Jonathan government.

The self-proclaimed most sophisticated group in the south west region ought to have understood all these before giving the votes that made Buhari become president.

Too late for lamentations.
Even if Buhari rules Nigeria to grind to a halt by 2019, and the north insists on Buhari to continue, Buhari shall still remain president after2019. Nigeria's rigged and lopsided political structure guarantees Buhari that.

Only solution is: if any group doesn't like it, let the group go for secession. With Nigeria's present political structure, there's no hope for Nigeria to get a good leader from any political party.

Government of confusion
CONFUSION AT THE NATIONAL & STATE LEVEL.
The main aim of APC as a party coming together was just to grab power by all means.
All of them had different motives.......
Buhari's aim was to take power back to the north, taste power as a civilian & attack is perceived enemies.
Tinubu's aim was to expend is political power from Lagos & Osun to the National level.

In every democracy, the President is the recognised leader of the ruling party and, by
extension, the nation as well. But in APC they have 2 leader BAT & PMB

At the states its not different:
Lagos State - Ambode/Tinubu are not in good terms with the predecessor Fashola (AKA borehole & website specialist)
Kano state - Ganduje(Mijin Hajia) not in good terms with his predecessor, Kwankwasiya.
Zamfara state - Abdullaziz Yari(Traveller) not in good terms with the state legislators lead by Sanusi Rikiji. The governor was almost impeached recently.
Kogi state - Bello(Fair Plus) & his wife have been stoned separate times in Kogi state. The incumbent governor was not even a candidate at the main governorship election.
Edo state - Adams Oshomole & his deputy are at logger head. APC candidate Obaseki was single-handedly picked by Oshomole.
Bayelsa state - Timipre Sylva clashed with Timi Alaibe during Governorship primaries & the rest was history.

The National Assembly has its confusion too: from Leadership tussle, CCT, Missing budget, Budget reappearing, Budget denials, Budget padding.
