Acunon, from your explanation and that of your aggrieved customer, i can deduce that the problem came from the courier service company. What i will advise you to do is to get back to the courier company and make them see how their inefficiency is affecting your business and the bad image their giving you. Threaten to discontinue doing business with them if they don't sit-up. Also insist your customer would not pay any additional charges since the product delayed was due to their ineptitude.

For your customer, try to still apologise to him or her and if possible promise him a special gift in your next dealings which you should do. If I'm in similar situation, i might behave the same way, try to be very understanding to his situation. And, please that lack of manners poster raining insult on your customer in your name should put inorder, his spoiling your business. He knows nothing about business and customer relation.

I've come to regard you as someone who knows what his doing so don't allow some faceless poster on social media to spoil your business in the name of defending you by attacking your customers.

The courier service company has refunded me for the loss of the tv, they apologised for it. The fund will be credited to George soon. Thanks you all for your help.

On Monday September 12, 2016 I posted here that I just sent 55k to Acunon for a 32 inch Samsung smart Led tv with model no: UE32J4510A. This was after some months of deliberations after which he promised to give me a very clean white color Samsung tv.
He promise to deliver it the following day Tuesday morning which he did. To my greatest surprise, the tv works quite alright but it has a lot of defects which I don't just like. It has a broken edge which has been cellotaped. Not just that, the entire 4 sides of the tv is covered with this cellotape.
Furthermore, the screen has this two white patches on the bottom left hand side of the tv, it shows vividly when the tv is on standby and also shows when the tv is on.
All these, I took care to explain to him in detail but I find it hard to believe that Acunon was always waving my complaints aside. All he is saying is that so far the tv is working, I should not complain.
Now, Acunon knows that i cherish the neatness and appearance of electronics. I have told him on several occasions including this particular tv. I don't buy tv with broken sides or defective screen.
When asked how many months guarantee will he give me on the tv, he initially wanted to decline but after much pressure he agreed to just one month guarantee! Can you believe this. To me, it seems it wasn't Acunon that i was speaking with again the moment I sent the money to him. He promised to include all the follow come accessories with it but what i got was a 19.5 volt Sony laptop adapter while the tv uses just 19volt. I complain about this but he waved it aside saying it would still work or i should get another one myself. When pressed further, he said there was nowhere i would get the original follow come accessories especially the adapter. So, if he knew this, why lie to me all in a bid to sell. This was after promising me heaven and earth about the looks and the appearance of the tv.
Now, before sending money to him, he showed me one good looking tv which i so much like that i had to go and look for another 10k because at that time he said it's 55k last. So, two days later when i want to send the money, he said the tv has been sold but there's another one that is the same model. When i saw the pictures, I asked him why put nylon or cellotape around it, he said that's how it came with it and I thought it's the nylon used to wrap it.
I told him that if i see this tv physically, I won't even touch it with a long pole no matter how cheap it is going for!!!
Now, to all Nairalanders in the house, how do you judge his behavior. I have followed his thread for two years now and this is what he eventually gave me. Fine, he is not a thief, but I think he is full of tricks all in a bid to sell his goods. I've always liked him before but as from now on, I will be calling for his head until he do the right thing. He either change this TV for me to a good one or i come down to Lagos to confront him. I'm based in Ibadan and i won't mind incurring the expenses that goes with it. 55,000 naira no be beans o because everyday i look at the tv and how it looks, I feel so so sad. Yet, Mr Acunon is not bothered.

Firstly, the celotape On the edge protects the frame from getting stained since it's a white colour and it will be visible for stains to be seen. As for the adaptor everybody knows that tokunbo tvs doesn't comes with the exact follow come material and to those that I have been selling that tvs to I have always included the sony adaptor either 19 volts or 19.5 volts to it. Now you said you wanted Samsung, where will I get that?. The warranty I give is always a month with assurance that you are still covered if anything happens to it after then. As for the white patch on the screen, I believe it is as a result of the adaptor, like I said change to 19.5 volts and tell me the result. I said before you are not the only one I have sold this to, tokunbo doesn't have to come neat like new. The previous one I sold wasn't as neat as you think as it has few scratches and the celotape had to advoid stain. I told you to enjoy your tv for a reason, because I know I got you a machine. So you don't have to panic as you are covered.

PLS KEEP IT UP. I KNOW THE JOB YOU ARE DOING IT ALONE MAYBE WITH FEW APPRENTICES, UNLIKE JUMIA OR KONGA THAT HAS LARGE NUMBER OF STAFF. This is tokunbo for God's sake and not new. You are not supposed to get the very best as the new as its cheap. When it comes to repairs and other stuffs it will be handled not silly talks

It might be best to start pointing out scratches and scuffs to potential buyers so both of you will be on the same page to know exactly what is being sold and what will be received by the buyer.
