winner01:You're a fraud. Why did you edit the post again? Am I offended by your questions? No, I'm offended by your stupidity! You're so wrapped up in your crusade against atheism that you did not even read the topic of the thread, not to all of the opening post before asking your 'questions'. Its like someone just said 'I eat beans without palm oil' and then youncome in and ask 'why do you hate beans?'. That's how stupid you looked. |

Re: Musings As An Agnostic Deist by Nobody: 10:01pm On Sep 27, 2016 |
winner01:You're also a liar. You didn't see my definition. You didn't even see anything. You just rushed to comment. If you did you wouldn't have posted the meme asking a question with the premise 'if life comes from from dead material', when I explicitly stated that I don't believe in that in the op. Also, I have no 'agenda' against theists. I only exposes contradictions and illogicality when I see it. If anything, I'm against theists that use their religion to hinder the progress of society. |

Re: Musings As An Agnostic Deist by Nobody: 10:28pm On Sep 27, 2016 |
winner01:What was your equally stupid first question? How it feels to be talking about god all the time? I can't even imagine how out of the millions of chromosomes that exist, you happened to end up with the ones that leave you mentally retarded. Even in this religion section, people hardly talk about god. It's either you theists or crusading against atheism, or some atheist is raising up awareness about another contradiction found in your so called infallible book of life. Talk about god? I for one, am a deist and an agnostic one, so the few times I talk about god are when I'm actually watching for answers, or sharing what I've learned, as I did here, before you came to sh*t all over it with your raving madness. When I say contradictions I guess I have to further explain to you that I'm talking of contradicting statements within one book, which you call your Bible, which have nothing to do with my personal beliefs. Have you not assumed that I was an atheist before? Why? Because I never made mention of my personal beliefs. But your brain has been programmed to think that anyone that doesn't believe in your fairytales is an atheist. 2 Likes 1 Share |

AnonyNymous:There is one thing we have to fully understand, we don't fully understand the brain yet. There are still things we don't get about the brain. So making a computer about our half baked knowledge of the brain could be problematic. And imploring an unknown and unproven factor to account for these gaps is also chaotic as it is not the true scientific method. ***** Let me now tell you why I think consciousness is a very physical phenomenon found both in humans and lower animals. What is consciousness the ability to be aware. We have 5 major senses that makes us aware and the brain interprets data from these senses. Our senses has been modified by natural selection to make us more fit to survive. But in lower animals, these senses are quite primitive. Take amoeba for example, if an amoeba is in an isotonic solution, it flourish but when it swims towards a hypertonic solution, the sensors at the pseudopodia sends a signal to the nucleaus (which is the brain of the cell) and alarms it that it is about to enter a danger zone. Making it AWARE of it's environment. But nature has a beautiful way of modifying us to be more fit for survival. 1 Like |

[quote author=UyiIredia post=49774585]I don't even believe the timescales[/qoute] There are trees in the world that are older than the reported age of the earth according to creationists. Watch the Bill Nye / Ken Ham debate. but then even if it were true. The evidence clearly shows that organisms conserve their form. What evidence? Be specific. |
Re: Musings As An Agnostic Deist by UyiIredia(m): 3:03pm On Sep 29, 2016 |
Seun: Thousands of years of recorded history involving animals and observational evidence shows that organisms maintain their form. Even fossils of various organisms lime sharks, mosquitoes etc that are supposedly millions of years old are no different from their modern day counterparts. This shows organisms don't evolve. They maintain their form as encoded in their DNA. |

Re: Musings As An Agnostic Deist by UyiIredia(m): 3:34pm On Sep 29, 2016 |
ValentineMary: Poor mechanisms especially. Random mutations cannot make new organ systems or add meaningful new information to the DNA. Natural selection as a differential survival of better adapted species is overhyped. |
