Why Doesn't God Audibly Tell People Not To Do Certain Things? by neduboy17: 1:04pm On Oct 02, 2016
I know it sounds strange but i have been thinking of it recently, lets say a woman wants to get an abortion, couldn't God audibly tell her that it is sinful and not to get it done? I get that free will is why we are able to... but surely it wouldn't be taking away free will for God to simply say not to do something. One could still choose to reject God's command. What do you think?

And do you want God to use public address system for you hear? God is speaking. Only that we chose to listen to what we care or the ones that we feel will make us right before men.

Y'all are simply avoiding the OPs question.

Why is God not literally speaking to people audibly?

Neduboy17, are you implying that God doesn't speak to people "audibly" in a voice they can recognize as God's voice?

I'm sure that will be more effective - if God don't want this person to have sex why not go ahead and tell them, if God needs worship why not go ahead and tell people audibly and demand it, if God wants someone dead why not go ahead and do the killing himself/herself.

Why must God always require humans to carry out these tasks.

It's a remarkable thing - All religions, occultic sects all claim to possess the breathed words of God but let just be honest with ourselves, it's has always been humans doing the talking and writings.

Very gentle and soothing. He is not harsh or hard.

Once, I was asking him for something, He told me what to do, something different from what i asked. What he said i shd do was kinda hard for me, so i didn't do it at first. I kept asking for what i wanted, One day, he spoke and said, If you don't do the first, the door for what you asking for wont open. With immediate effect, i obeyed and what i wanted happened.

So, Yes he speaks clearly. You only hear him if you spiritually sensitive.

Have you kept all the laws of Nigeria
Have you kept all the instructions that your parents, aunt, relations gave you?
Have you kept all the rules in your school?
have you kept all the rules in your place of work?
have you kept all the traffic rules?

Since you have not been able to keep the laws of man, why do you want me to believe that people will keep God's laws if he was talking audibly to us?

THAT'S THE USUAL MOVE, OR ARE YOU NEW TO THESE PEOPLE? NEVER BEING STRAIGHT.

THE SAME PEOPLE THAT SAY "GOD GAVE US FREEWILL"
ARE THE SAME PEOPLE THAT THANK GOD FOR A DONATION AND NOT THE DONOR HIMSELF... WHY? BECAUSE "GOD USED HIM TO HELP HER" IS THE USUAL REPLY.

WHAT HAPPENED TO FREEWILL IN THIS CASE, SO ONE CANNOT ACT FREELY UNLESS GOD OR LUCIFER PUSHES THEM?

The bible disagrees with you though

Job 37:2
"Listen closely to the thunder of His voice, And the rumbling that goes out
from His mouth.

2samuel 22:14
The Lord thundered from heaven.
The Most High made his voice heard.

Jeremiah 10:13
When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens,

Job 40:9
"Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?

That is not a gentle male voice but what do i know lipsrsealed

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans:8:14

Are you a son?

My sheep will hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John:10:27

Goats don't hear the voice of a Shepherd, only sheep does.

Are you a goat or a sheep?
