Helping someone, that is old enough to be your dad, then broadcasting it to the rest of the world devalues the person you helped. It`s only a good deed, if you didn`t set out to gain from it. Here you set out to gain publicity from it. Learn to do good without publicity. You are still a young man developing your sense of wrong and right, so learn to tolerate criticism. It`s good when those that are helping quickly forget and those being helped continue to remember. Good luck!

There is an assurance that he can hear with the help of this www.cochlear.com, even though he was born deaf.

He can see if the blindness isn't natural with the help of surgery.

To talk; this is what I'm trying to develop, to see if it can correct speech defect.

SycophanticGoat:

Please keep these quotes to yourself because you need it more. For starters, these people have created awareness, and also calling on the general public to come to the man's aid, so what is bad about that?

All you so called religious people are the ones spoiling this country. You are very quick to quote the bible for a common man helping a helpless man but will never quote bible for all those crook of pastors stealing the masses blind and flying private jets. If the useless pastors are for real, will people like this man be on the streets waiting to die?

Nigerians disgust me greatly!

Truth is, I cried seeing this man's conditions and I may loose my mind if I remain on this thread seeing useless comments. Also, I pray that I don't begin to doubt God's existence because this sufferings are just too many for one man to bare. No one man should bare all these alone, it's not fare.

Well, you guys tried but the fact that you guy took pics is what i don't get. Whenever you're doing good don't even let your left hand know about it that's what Christ said we should do. I don't understand why some peeps will announce to the world of their good deeds. Do it in secret and God will reward you openly.

Anyway, God bless you guys....kudos!

Didn't u read to the end? did u not see the appeal? they need people around to render support to the man and not for u to appreciate or bless them.

Agreed, he broadcast it to the whole world, I think this will help attract the world that there lies a man in need.

You feel saying such rubbish publicly is worth bringing curses upon you?
Have a rethink OK. I know sometimes peeps like you want to be noticed, but its not worth the negative energy you attract to your life.

I don't like this.... Why must we seem to find fault with every kind gesture

He is deaf, dumb and blind but thankfully he is alive... And someone made a disgusting statement that there is no point living - - - thereby condemning the mad to untimely death. YOU THAT CAN HEAR, TALK AND SEE.. WHAT ARE YOU USING THESE GIFT FOR?? YOU WERE GIVEN THIS GIFT FOR THIS VERY PURPOSE YET YOU ABUSED IT. YOU THINK THE HEALTHY NEED DOCTORS?? EVEN IF THE MAN FAMILY ABANDON HIM, YOU SHOULD NOT. DO THE SAME IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH AND SOMETHING TO SPARE.

Other were moaning that this is hypocrisy... Whatever kind gesture you rendered should be kept secret.. That the right hand should not. Know what the left hand is doing etc.. So that God who sees in secret will reward you publicly... Mmm, so to these schools of thought that think this way, taking a look at the gentlemen and lady in that picture, are they millionaire, huh? Think they can do it all alone? The answer is No!! They want you guys to join them in helping that man... It is that simple. LET ME. ASK YOU, IF THEY HAD TOLD THE STORY WITHOUT PICTURES TO BACK THE STORY , WOULD YOU EVEN HAVE BELIEVED THEM NO.. NO.. NO... YOU WON'T. YOU WILL MAKE IT SOME KIND OF JOKE .IF YOU ARE CLOSED TO THE PLACE,HAVE ENOUGH TO SPARE, PLEASE HELP THAT MAN.

I am from Enugu but based in makurdi and neither do I have a close friend in my state... Otherwise, there is no way I won't help because I know what it means to be deaf having experienced that myself. Now, Adding blind and dumb in the equation... Hmmm, brothers and sisters show please compassion.. It could be you!

Look I assure you since you have this wish for an helpless man, you shall know no peace, something worse than this is coming your way this week, this month, this year or next year, whenever you're smiling may this comment haunt you even in your dreams. You have brought a curse upon yourself and sorrow to your innocent loved ones
