The 46" smart and 3D cost 130k
The 48" smart tv cost 140k
The 50" smart tv cost 140k(price may soon change)
The 55" smart tv and 3D cost from 180k and above depending
There are 55" smart tv uhd 3k that cost from 270k and above

I downloaded the update file for the TV model from the samsung website, about 1.3GB, it came as a compressed file so i extracted it and copied to a clean (formatted) flash drive. I inserted the flash and went to the support tab under settings, then software update tab and it searched for the update file in the removable disk, then it updated from version .1406 to .1410. Thats just it. The update process wont take up to 20minutes.

So do you also deal in new UK TV? How much are the price range for 50 inches and above size? Maybe 48 or 49 inches.

Most of my TVs are UK used with few Australian used too. I don't mostly sell UK brand new TVs only on few occasions like the one I sold to a moderator (semid4lyfe).

Most new ones are fake if you don't buy from authentic dealer stores, where they will clone the fake tv to LG Or Samsung and with low reduction of price when compared to the original one. If you need a 48"-50" UK NEW ONE i will try to help you source for that.

LG 42LN570S the update file on their web site seems to be corrupt.... each time I download I can't extract. pls is there any alternative site to download from?

it depends on your preference, for me it is a LED TV and an Android box cos an Android box can be tweaked to your taste while some smart TVs wont allow tweaks and they are limited to applications and bloatwares ....

It is better one buys an LED TV with Android box after enjoying full experience of a follow come inbuilt smart tv apps. An android box in my opinion only shows you android content which you are always used to and the build may not fancy you due to there display and OS. A smart tv brings a new interaction where you can know more about your tv.
