I've got this simple solution which i know will never work but let me just say...

Let’s write the British and ask them to come govern us ( From Presidency down to Local government level )
I am very sure we will be a better country.... Tribalism will be gone 100%. Corruption can be reduced to like 1%.
Really what have we got to loose apart from our pride? We need to be taught the right way to govern..
I swear a million years time this country will remain like this with d way things are going...

This scenario is very hypothetical but it doesn't hurt to just discuss it.
@seun, @lalasticlala and others MOD that matters. I know this thread is as impossible to hit the frontpage as the actualisation of the suggestion itself. However it will be a delight to elevate this thread to a page where we can get enough audience... Our leaders needs to know the extent of our disappointment.... We will rather sell our independence to give our children a future.

Letting the british rule us again is a very stupid idea, I think we should strengthen our ties with foreign investors that will boost infrastructural development, then ward off bad eggs in government by voting people who have the best interests of the masses at heart.

Number 1. No politician who can make the APC or PDP primaries has your interest at heart. Cos to pass through d nominations you need to wet grounds and do all that dirty work.... therefore we will NEVER be able to vote for the right person... the good people don't emerge as candidates for the major parties. Even if myself and yourself as enlightened people decides to vote these good guys in, we won't be able to share rice and 5k at d polls hence d bad guys will always win.

Number 2. How do you invite foreign investments when d terrain is not accommodating for business to thrive? Infrastructural development? You mean like penning 1billion naira for the 10m naira contract and still executing substandard projects

You didn't say why u feel allowing the British back is a very stupid idea.. have you ever been to South Africa ??
