You No sabi people.. I was at Astrazeneca for an interview and after the usual questions asked. The lady asked, who do you know?? These days, companies are seeking who they can rely on, and not just what you have to offer. It's only God that can help.. At FBN capital, a meeting was called and a lady who had her pride at her heels didn't inform her boss of her resignation, when she stated she was no longer interested while at the meeting, the boss was shocked about her not informing him before the meeting. Lo and behold, a week later, FBN lost 4billion naira. She was called back, her salary was tripled, her car totally changed, her apartment was equipped. As she enter, 8billion show. So my brother, who you sabi also matter. 2 Likes |

emymeeky: You forgot to add another one: They already have their own anointed candidate in mind for the job, but are just trying to fulfill all righteousness or keep up appearances by holding interviews, in order to give the impression that a fair process was followed, before slotting in their appointed candidate who has been waiting in the wings. And the final one: An interviewer or someone important on the panel feels intimidated by the candidate or applicant. An interviewer once told a friend of mine: "You are over-qualified for this role. In fact, you have more degrees than I do. If we hire you, management would remove me and replace me with you." |
