I was sent the phantom 6 phone to experience and I wanted to know what the hype around the phone was for. I can tell you that I was blown away and even began 'preaching' about the phone to friends and family. I will highlight a list of the things I have experienced:

1). TYPE C CHARGER: I wish this charger came with all phones because I was so impressed with this charger; first of all it is multi-dimensional (has detachable two and three-ports so you phone can fit in any socket). This charger also charges very fast. This will bring me to my second experience with the phone

2). BATTERY: The battery lasts! I did not have steady power the week I got the phone so when power came on I was able to charge the phone for 30 minutes. You would not believe that the battery lasted steady for five days! I was wondering what kind of jazz they used on the phone to make it that way.

3). CAMERA: This phone's camera quality is the best I've ever seen( I am not lying). The camera was so sharp. I will post pictures I took with the phone at the end of this post. I tried taking pictures from miles away and even from a close angle and the camera captured it accurately.

4). APPS: When I heard that they packed 10 processors on this phone I was wondering how they could do it. But then I used the phone and I really understood why it was so powerful!You can leave so many apps running on the device and it's work perfectly. The phone has a very
wide range of apps that can be downloaded from the play store especially video-related apps and it'll work without hassles.

5). SLIM DESIGN: I got the gold-colored phone and it was so slim. When I first got it I was skeptical at whether it will perform all the things I heard that the phone could do but I can tell you it did that and so much more. All you have been hearing about the tecno phantom 6 is not a lie at all. The phone is slim and packs 10 processors; and has everything you need in a phone and much more.

6). SOFTWARE UPDATE FUNCTION: A lot of people used to complain that tecno phones do not give the function of updating their IOS to something higher so they want to root but this time the tecno engineers took note of that and made that option available.

All I can say is that I was impressed so far with the phone; all my family members and friends that saw me with the phone want to buy it because they've seen the quality. Well done tecno for this amazing device.

Well maybe u just kept the phone in ur bag without using it at all.. then its possible. But when u have ur accounts synced, with whatsapp, fb, g mail, pople calling, browing the web... abeg that thing will need charging by 7pm. Even Tecno L7 plus which is the most rugged tecno phone when it comes to battery won't lat 5 days. Hell even Gionee m5 which is about the most rugged phone when it comes to battery won't last 5 days and u are telling me phantom 6 with 2,700mah lasted u 5 days. Ok continue.

it's not bad i have a Samsung Note 4 and Infinix Hot 4 and Mali GPU in PSP emulation isn't bad then again PSP emulation isn't bad but i agree it doesn't come close to Adreno GPU or SnapDragon CPU but i read a review that the T860 MP2 is mostly for low demanding games.

Yes we look down cos there is no efficiency and actual performance there, how can you make a Decacore Cpu that is insanely out performed by a Quadcore Cpu?? That's a waste of silicon to me, most phones won't use more than 2 cores when running even the most intensive of tasks.. so what's the rest for?? It's all about numbers on mediatek.. let's move to another segment... camera.. how many mtk phones have you seen with world class cameras?? ? Let's be honest.. go through gizmochina, you'll see a lot of mtk devices.. all have one thing in common.. poor camera... even our tech bloggers like Don capriano, Dickson otieno, techweez and the rest all have the same decision about the Phantom 6 plus camera... IT'S BELOW EXPECTATIONS AND DISAPPOINTING, Especially in low light, or should we move to software support?? am sorry to sef there's different type of gaming, Candy crush is gaming and there is gaming pushing your OpenGL ES Capability to the maximum and using your shaders to the fullest till your GPU/Phone start heating up that's the type of gaming we are talking about. it has but it's behind Adreno but it's not bad I have 2 phones one Mali 760 and Mali 400MP it's not bad but nothing compared to the Adreno, the difference is not something a Nigerian can easily pick up, unless you are big on detailed texture. Mali is fast but not as Adreno

How many FPS do you get?? Are you a hardcore gamer?? Have your tried playing AAA titles on it?? My friend has the Phantom 6 plus... and no its not good enough for even FHD gaming... not to talk of QHD... this friend of mine also has an S7 Edge... and he prefers gaming on it...

I have an AMD card and this is the same neglect we face in the desktop world, games are built with Physx which is Nvidia which allows calculation to be done on GPU rather CPU making the CPU less free to handle others.

sadly i can't find documents on MTK devices, I love emulation so that's how am exposed with all these information. Vulkan API is not Graphic API that will make games much more faster. what we currently have isn't enough as each vendor has to provider drivers and tools so developers can ooptimize, but that might be difficult because imagine optimizing for multiple GPU but Vulkan allows a much lower level meaning you have control over the GPU.

Looks like you are a gaming guru bro. But you said MTK is not that bad means it's also good and I like the fact that it doesn't heat up. Snapdragon does particularly the ones on lg devices
