even 2019 no chance, perhaps the dude thought he was as good as messi, how he know that he's not better than Djemba-Djemba grin wants to play for nigeria. What he did then was/is an insult to us as a nation, he even went as far as saying he is not 'IBE' that he is 'IB', they should let him know that 'IB' is not a nigeria name, what we answer here is IBE.
Paz

Gbam as a nation we need to only go for people who don't think twice about representing us.

Already there's one boy in belgium wilfred ndidi very good midfielder wetin we need "IB" for?

U know what? Let's call him up, play him for 2mins in a competitive match then throw him away. Make we kill him intl career grin

Bloody unpatriotic mofo

To think he has igbo n yoruba blood flowing in his veins yet he rejected us

when he see how well alex iwobi and carl ikeme and the rest of the international player are doing..he decide to come back..ode..stay for your England let see how well they treat you..no place like home

No place like home? Don't make me laugh. Have you seen how badly home treats its own citizens, talk less of players? At least there in England, you have a good chance of getting salary, health care, and light. Even if they throw a banana at you while you're playing... pick it up and eat. It's better than any treatment you'll get from officials, robbers, police, or mechanics here in Naija.

Re: Jordon Ibe Looks Set To Pledge His Allegiance To Nigeria. by stagger: 6:52pm On Nov 23, 2016
No, let him be waiting for England to call him up like Nedum Onuoha whose mother actually made a very disrespectful comment about Nigeria, only for the Nedum guy to come begging.

They don't know that racism in England is as real as it gets.

seriously aside all that, i think the guy has started looking at the future beyond football. A lot of ex football stars who served their nation during their time are well accepted and well respected when they return. The likes of late keshi, dan amokachi, siasia, kano etc. They are recognised and respected anywhere in the country and they hv chances in political appointments. Okocha is among DFA board, yobo is gradually waxing stronger in politics, all these wouldnt hv been much easy for them if they hadnt played for the country. Playing for nigeria may not be worth it, but it pays in the long run. So the guy is probably thinking of the future
