Hi everyone have been following this trend for a while now please I want to ask a question.my visa was approved last week Friday when I try to check my update about my visa it's say administrative processing please has anyone experience this

someone here had the same thing like week ...so just means the embassy is double checking

It means you application is been reviewed further after the interview by a consular officer ............. Inorder words double checking your whole application . Nothing you can do but wait and be checkin the status and hope that they stick to their initial decision of giving you the visa. If they spot any discrepancy then yes they can change and deny the visa ......

but remain positive and check till the status changes to issued. which means the passport is ready to collection. it when you reach there then u find the outcome ...the person from last week , after AP the visa outcome remained the same.. visa was given

If you can pay the visa fee you can return as often as you like.
No guarantee that you will get a visa though.

Someone drew my attention to your post. I remember you from the previous parts of this thread. Why are you homeless and tired of life? I think you need to tell us your exact situation in order to be able to advise. From the last time, I remember that;

- You have up to four siblings in America who are U.S citizens

- You have a work authorization card which can let you work

- Have a pending immigrant petition filed on your behalf

So what exactly could be making you think of committing suicide? Why should you be homeless when your siblings are here? Do they all hate you? Why are they all tired of you? What have you done to them? Have you stopped working at your job as a cashier? What has changed in your life to have caused this?

I really don't know your new situation but one thing I will let you know is that you even have it so good and better than many people in America. Many people wish they have siblings who are citizens here, have a pending immigration petition, and have a work permit. Everyone of us is fighting one kind of battle or the other, yet we will never give up.

My simple advise: Tell us what has changed since the last time when things were good and we can work with you or advise based on your peculiar situation.

-OjaP

It all began in January 2016 when I lost my sponsorship and I decided to take my last semester off from school in order to work and save money to pay off my Fall 2015 semester tuition and Spring 2016 semester tuition for my community college. I was owing the school $4000 for Fall 2015 semester tuition and about $2000 for spring 2016. My status was unfortunately terminated in January. From January 2016-June 2016 I was able to save up $8000. My Last post on June when I came around and ask nairalanders to help me draft a reinstatement letter but no one was able to help. Since then due to circumstances beyond my control as a result of my indecision and wrong advices even though I paid off the balance I was owing the school. I was still unable to apply for reinstatement and as a result I was banned from school. From June 2016-December2016 things have gone from bad to worse. All my documents are expired and the cashiering job is all I have left in America. Since I got involved in an accident I have been declared as suicidal and sent to a rehab and I have been placed on antidepressant medication (lexapro and risperidone) those medication have really messed me up. I can no longer think nor understand what is going in my life. I wake up go to work and come back to sleep. Family and Friends are tired of me. They are like you can always buy your ticket and go back to Africa. I can't go back to Africa. I have nothing left there but at same time I don't want to waste my destiny.

Hello House,

Posting for the second time now... Visa approved this morning at about 8:38am.

my interview was scheduled for 7:45am but i already arrived the venue as at 7:05am but i felt i still had time to cross my T's and dot my i's. So, i approached the venue at about 7:35am and i learnt that they are calling 8:15am already.. i just joined a queue. passed the first check point, to the second and to the third.. after getting to the fourth check point, i was returned to the first check point for an announcement that was made before i joined the queue on how the documents should be arranged.
I pleaded with the lady that i am for 7:45 and time is already past and you are calling other batches already.. just tell me how to arrange but she insisted that i go back which i did. This almost destabilized me
This time, it did not take as much time as it took me to get to that forth check point.. meanwhile as i stood on the queue, i was trying to remember all i had crammed but i was still skipping some and i knew that could be a problem for me but i kept on asking God for a retentive memory.
I finally got to the interview hall and this fear came upon me but i summoned courage and kept praying while still trying to remember all i crammed. I was eventually called upon by the v.o himself who had just handed a lady the blue paper and i was like "how can this guy approve me" but i kept hopes alive.

me: good morning sir
v.o: good morning, thank you... pass me your passport... (i did and he scanned it).. when did you pay your sevis fee?
me: 2 days ago
v.o: but its not reflecting here (meanwhile the guy that i did my thumb print with said the same)... anyways, why are you going to the US?
me: to purse a Bachelors of Science degree in Biological sciences
v.o: in what school?
me: Louisiana state university
v.o: how would you be paying for this?
me: my father will
v.o: what does your father do? (i did not hear this and i said "i did not get that sir".. he repeated it n i still did not hear.. (he removed his headphone and started lecturing me... "if you can not hear my English, then you would have problems understanding anyone in Louisiana because i speak good English compared to those in Louisiana.. so i wonder how you wanna cope.. he then repeated himself like he was talking to someone in KG2... what does your father do?
me: he is the md/ceo of Olly farms (does not exist but i already had it in mind that i was picking that name)
v.o: what kind of farm is Olly farms?
me: fish farm and a piggery.
v.o: how old are you?
me: 29
v.o: when did you finish high school?
me: 2008
v.o: what have you been doing since 2008?
me: after my high school, i attended Yaba college of Technology for 2 years and 1 year compulsory Industrial training after which i attended Lagos state vocational education board where i got an 18 months diploma in fish farming.

He typed for so long and i was like.. wetin this man wan ask again na

v.o: unfortunately, you would not be able to go with you international passport now because i need to confirm your sevis fee payment but in the mean time, i would be approving your visa... (handed me a white sheet, circled an address) pick up your passport and visa in this address this time next week...

I could not help but jubilate right in front of him because i was so overjoyed.

Little advice for every prospective Visa applicant...
- pray, pray and pray again.
- fast and let whoever is close to you fast for you as well
-whatever you face in the course of the screening before getting to the vo, do not be discouraged.. that would even help you take fear away as you draw near.

GOD OWNS ALL THE GLORY.
thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences because it has really helped me.

Visa denied today. My third time. Was interviewed today by 10.30am at window 1. By a lady.
Here is my transcript.
.
V.0- tell me your study plan.
Me- i'm going to monmouth university to do my masters degree in software engineering. I'm the computer analyst my company. This course software engineering is a course that is going to help me in tackling the many challenges we do encounter in this I.T company i work for.
V.o-(cuts in) you work for an IT company?
Me: yes
v.o- what do you do for them?
Me- i'm the systems analyst. I design systems for programmers to build and we pay them off. I want to learn something practical and be manufacturing this programs myself, come back and take my new position as the software engineering manager in this company.
V.o- what do you read in your B.sc?
Me-i read computer sci.
V.o-Who will be paying your tuition?
Me- my dad
v.o- what does he do?
Me-he is a business man that
v.o- (cuts in) did you applied to other school?
Me-Yes
v.o -which are?
Me-florida international university and also monmouth university.
Me-Why monmouth and not the other? Monmouth was the school that first offered me admission.
V.o- and a schoolarship as well?
Me- no, i was not offered a schoolarship.
V.o- but that was what i've here, that you are on a schoolarship?
Me- i was not offered any schoolarship( i wonder where she read or saw that one from)
v.o- you are married?
Me- no i'm not yet married
v.o- what do you say you do in your company?
Me- i design systems for programmers to produce. I spend most of my day talking to people that use computer systems in my business. I help them tell the programmers what kind of new programs to build and when the program is done i help them learn to use it, and get any problems fixed.
V.o- what are the courses you will be doing?
Me- i listed all the ten courses i'll be doing. By now she was looking at me and nodding. And i was thinking that i've convinced her. As in, with hope that my prayer is now answered. Lol
But the V.o typed like 5mins and again handed me back my passport, with the blue paper telling me that my visa requirements
does not merit a visa approval at this time and that i should read the reasons from the blue paper she gave me.
.
This was my third time and third denial. All in just 1year. But i still give thanks to God. For only Him knows the reason for this. His will has just prevailed. I believe He has a better plan. I'm not planning to apply again for now.(reason best known for me) I only posted this because i'd make up my mind that i'm going to post my transcript here(whether successful or unsuccessful) so that others can either tap from it(if succeful) or learn from the mistakes(not successful) when corrected. Now the floor is open for the transcript to be corrected. But before that i still wish to thank all those people that i PM-ed(sent email) and my phone number to call when i needed a mock interview but were ignored by them. I don't know why they all ignored me. No need to mention names. It was all for good, for even though i was not attended to by you guys, you have in so many ways helped me and many others with the informations you guys always give here. I've forgiven you all and pray God to keep giving you guys the good heart in teaching others here. I also pray for all those that are yet to get their visa approved. I pray God to grant you all your prayer request-that your visa will be approved. Once again thanks and God bless you all.

Don't say IT and keep quiet, otherwise you will be denied again. Say industrial training and of course you need to tell the VO your job title and talk about it. Keep talking till he or she stops you.

While you talk, make you use body language as well, so that whoever you are talking to, will take you seriously. I will drill you tonight. I just want you succeed and I know you can.

Hopefully i dont get banned today like yesterday , as i am hesitant to comment ...i sent you a pm and you are yet to respond

You just need to take a deep breath and believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel and take control of the situation . If you feel the medication is affecting you negatively , have a review with your family doctor and explain your concern and see if your medication can be reduce or stopped

Regarding out of status . i honestly cannot comment as i have not been in that shoe , however if it was just a sample letter you need . There are samples out there on google (if no one responded in NL) ... Go to the school international office and have a clear understanding (if u dont) , what it takes to get back in status . Write them down and start working on it one by one. .... slowly slowly you can crawl out and get the situation back in control. You just need to take ownership of it all and be willing to be positive . ...
