Very succinct. Shows how much you 'feel' the character. You would do really good reviews.

I actually have a book review website. I gave up on it simply because of laziness. grin

Christie in VC Andrew's *Midnight whispers* She has a strong personality, and was able to overcome all the ugly consequences life brought her way, even tho she was only 16.
.
Kambili, in Chimamanda's Purple hibiscus. Maybe because she reminds me of myself in a lot of ways.
.
Matt, in Chistar01 's Why I want to be bad. That story is still the best I've read on nairaland since I joined last year, and I mourned for 2days, when I completed the story. I loved Matt from the beginning, he just didn't deserve to die.

Kainene in Chimamanda Adiche's Half of a Yellow Sun( she is bad, strong, bad mouthedan hardworking and determined but unfrotunately ...).
Otis Hampton in. Isidore Okpewho's Call Me By My Rightful Name( despite all the situation and challenges he was still determined to know his root and he suceeded.)
Nneoma in Akachi Ezeigbo's Trafficked( she didn't believe she was a failure and never gave up until she achieved her aim)
Nnu Ego in Buchi Emecheta;s Joys of Motherhood( an epitome of a good mother who never reaped the fruits of her labour)
Adisa in Festus Iyayi's Violence( she struggled for survival with her husband but always got the blame for their predicament).
Koko in JP Clark's The Wives Revolt

Can't remember the names of the protagonists.... But i like African literatures.... Ngugi wa Thiango.... A grain of wheat.... Adichie... Purple habiscus... I like Jaja and Ngozi... for their strong will and resolves.... Things fall apart... Emeritus prof. Chinua... Okonkwo for his hard work but hate his flaw ...anger... Ezeudu..."that boy calls you father have no hand in his death" I like the character.... Chinua... Chike and the river... Chike... Chike has seen the river fetched, fished and bathed in it... His problem was to cross from Onitsha to Asaba ... This short novel denounces most of the European claims about preliterate Africa (writing).... Faceless... Kwadwo.... What's that small girls name again....? Sly po and Kabrier.... Exposed the ordeals faced by street kids in Africa... Sizwe Bansi is dead... Robert Zwilinzima ...he played out the identity crises very well... In other to survive he had to die... winks.... Joy of motherhood Nnuego suffered a lot.... for her children and yet her death leaves me in tears each time ... The Concubine.. Elechi AMADI ... whatever it's lovely... and others. My favourite is Aye Kwe Arms's ... "The beautiful ones are not yet born"... The beautiful ones we had in African political sphere are dead... zik.. Nyerere...Nkrumah... Madiba... etc... please do well to read more of AFRICAN literatures.....

The Sorrows of Satan by Marie Corelli. Loved that book, very insightful. But Geoffrey was weak, he gave up his writing for the riches and fame the devil promised (a Faustian Bargain). And although everything works out for him in the end, I liked the the other writer - what was her name? Mavis Claire.

Good choice.

Graham wessit, 4th earl of mortmarche... Strong, tentative and venturesome. Lives in the moment and tries the necessary just to survive however seen by many as a rake and always up to no good. Very 'kind' character but stupendously misunderstood. From the novel black silk by Judith ivory.

Patrick lanigan...great guy who sought the strangest of escape from the many impending tragedies. He showed truly 'that a man got to do what he got to do'... A capitalist kind of robin hood. Still his exploits appealed to me. Great story. Very didactic... From the partner by john Grisham. Still sad about that ending.

read hundreds of works sha
