it's easy
you can go to your school and ask for a discharge later, which will be given to u and subsequently NYSC will certify you ad long as your school is able to convince them of why u ain't serving u can even tell ya school that u have got admission to study abroad for ya masters and u can't afford to wast a whole year as the opportunity comes but ones, belive me with ya wallet and persuasion ya vc can make things happen
p.s. Make sure u go through a lecturer you are familiar with

Nobody like NYSC, but its a requirement. Even thise that skip Nigerian University still come back home to serve.

it is not a year wasted considering the opportunity you have to socialise, strategies and consider what you want from life. the government object for NYSC might be defeated just like everything else in the country, but your personal objective to find yourself as a young adult remains. do yourself a favour spend that year growing yourself to take on the world.

OK seriously now..you only need NYSC of you decided you want to work in certain organization's or government. If however, you decide you want to be an entrepreneur then you actually do not need the certificate. Truthfully, the certificate adds no value to graduates, it is a complete waste of 1 year and a huge drain on resources.

You need to goto your school you graduated from and get an Exemption Letter from them.

This Exemption Letter means you went to university but you don't want to goto service.

Reasons might be you're not strong enough , Health Problems etc.

Note: You'll pay a small token in other to collect it.

The Exemption Letter will be handed to you whenever your batch is returning.

The Exemption Letter is still the same with the one those that went to NYSC were given, but the only difference is : There is a column where they'll write : You were Exempted etc.

You might well have a point sir,actually that was the whole idea of NYSC in the first place...to socialize and familiarize but sir, after socializing for 4-5-6yrs in d university, I think the aim of NYSC should no longer be that, I just think the system should be restructured, become a programme of choice, and sir I definitely dint wait till my 4th year or NYSC year to have a personal objective or strategy to take on the world, I've been doing that ever since I saw my admission status some years ago....so sir I would say all ur points are exactly why we have this system but as with our politicians we vote for a reason, it has failed and I hope Nigeria is not failed too.

How about going for the orientation, then serve as a ghost Corper. You might need the certificate one day. Just talk to your LGI or Z.If

The scheme might be slack, but you'll enjoy the experience I tell you. Just go

By the way, the brightest chance you have skipping NYSC, is if your dad is a first class traditional ruler or a top government official. Even at that, you still have to go for registration and swearing in. They don't print the certificate and keep for all mobilized prospective Corp members. They use your registration details to print it with your passport photograph nowadays.

you must first attend the 3weeks camp bullshit, then after that, you will get a months break before you are redeployed to your actual place of service, now the ghost corper stuff is between you and the head of that organization, if he or she agrees to or not, you won't come in to work and your money goes to them ...

That's not an excuse for shirking from national service my good sire if you wasted a year in service it doesn't make going AWOL the right thing to do the Op remains a coward and a saboteur same as the goats that support him.

Allow them to post you, on your way to camp stop at a military checkpoint and slap a soldier man, you would surely skip service. Thank me later.

the only condition i know is if you have your own personal business project that its nature entails rendering of social services or an agric project, however, i dont know the process nor if you will get paid, but i know you will get your certificate at the end like every other person, your project will serve as your ppa.
