African leaders are falling for the West bait.

they should never trust anything the french supports.
The y have a plan to subvert Africa interests for whatever
reason.

All these all just a part of a grand scheme which they intend
to use against Africa

Why fight a lost war?

In the end, they die, children starved and their jammeh go enter woman cloth, escape to Abidjan

The news would really hurt ipob zombies. They were hoping to count bodies of Nigerian troops once a war breaks out so they can throw smelly saliva all over the place about Buhari, but with this, i doubt their wish would come true. grin

Gambia army chief says troops will not fight intervention

January 18, 2017

Gambia’s army chief said Wednesday he would not order his men to fight other African troops if they enter Gambian territory, speaking as Senegalese and other troops massed on his nation’s borders.

The Senegalese troops backed by other African forces are on standby to move into The Gambia as President Yahya Jammeh approaches a midnight deadline to stand down or face military action after refusing to leave at the end of his term.

“We are not going to involve ourselves militarily. This is a political dispute,” Chief of Defence Staff Ousman Badjie said, after eating dinner in a tourist district close to the capital, Banjul, eyewitnesses told AFP.

“I am not going to involve my soldiers in a stupid fight. I love my men,” he added, stopping to pose for selfies with admirers while dressed in fatigues, beret and green t-shirt, according to those present.

“If they (Senegalese) come in, we are here like this,” Badjie said, making a hands up to surrender gesture.

Badjie is no stranger to controversy after appearing to declare support for president-elect Adama Barrow and then switching back to Jammeh.

He gat no story to tell other than leaving the seat he has occupied for 22yrs through Military coup in 1994 and then voted into power democratically in 1996.

It's really saddening to see some people on this forum drumming support for a political bigot in the person of Jammeh.. the question then beckons...if you were a Gambian leaving in Gambia would you support a tyrant who is about to tear your country into shreds all Bcuz of his selfish political gains?

We call here Nigeria's foremost public forum.. and some of the comments one reads here on a daily basis from "Tribalism" to "Uneducated" comments etc truly show that there's little or no hope for the future of this country.

I just wish Seun as well as "others" could checkmate some of these "useless" comments because if we have to tell ourselves the truth.... NAIRALAND is loosing every bit of relevance!!!

GOODMORNING!!!!l

......which other side of the story, dont be sentimental....Elections were held, he lost and conceded defeat.Which other side of the story, that it was rigged? A sitting president for 22 years could could not outrig his opposition, na lie...He lost and the whole world knows. The UN,AU and ECOWAS are against his stay.Senegal is a member nation in the UN security council and have made it known to the UN what is up.....Give me a reliable link where ECOWAS told nigeria(the most important nation in ECOWAS) to release a prisoner.Int'l politics dont work as u think.....stop reading those #20 newspaper or hearing a radio channel based on propanganda.Research and think for yourself...Thats how i was somewhere and some guyz were telling me how soldiers were been trained in the jungle with sophisticated weapon ready to aid the seccession cause(biafra).Hw will an educated person beileve this, mere propanganda.....

I'm neutral on this Gambian issue but a nation where everyone supports whatever the president decides is a nation of zombies.the freedom of thought is still an alienable human right.
