Op I feel your pain but until u stop expecting people to help u, that's when great ideas will flow in, which will be end up becoming sought after by millions of people. Life is tough like I always say.. It's not for the weak or faint hearted.
I know of unilag students both guys and girls who learnt one craft or the other and end using it in school. The one who learnt the craft of sandals and shoes are making their money by the side and paying their schools. The ones who learnt sewing?; sew for students, making money, barbing nko? It's also there. They feed well, dress well and assist their parents.
If u keep posting cv up and down we without a skill to sell and make ends meet.
My dear OYO. Stop the self pity and think! Wat product or services do the society need that will create money for u.. Just think!

In my own case, the fear of sexual harassment made me seat down and think, what services can I provide for the public? And be an enterprenuer ,without bn placed at the mercy of any employer. And an idea came up, which am so glad I followed it up. And fashied white collar jobs.
I hate been boxed into a corner cos I want to survive. I detest it.

And my plans triumphed after some rigorous years down the lane

Like I said starting thinking constructively.

I remember how I searched for job when I Finished service, I sent applications to numerous places, but all to no avail. Instead of just sitting at home, I went for a masters programme. Graduated April 2016 and searched for jobs till November that I managed to get a 30k job in Lagos. I didn't mind the pay, I accepted the offer and relocated to Ota upon advises from friends, despite the fact that my father was against it. Now I am in need of assistance so I can secure a place close to my workplace, all the friends that advised me to relocate disappeared. I hope when I make it in future and decide to be selfish, no one will raise nose.

I don't even know what to believe anymore. You send countless well written applications to positions you know you'll be able to to do cos you have the skills, yet you don't even get a response from the employers. Then you start to believe you have one of those "realities" where nothing works. The worst part is even your own damn family thinks you're a disgrace & you start getting paranoid thinking they're planning to get rid of you somehow. The few people you summon the courage to talk to only say "it is well" like that's helping matters. Fúcking hypocrites. If it is my destiny to become a criminal mastermind, let it be. After all nobody cares how you get your money especially bítches.

Anyway if anyone can link me to a design job, I'll appreciate it, cos I've asked for links on those vacancy threads with no response, instead they keep posting commerce or social science related positions with outrageous requirements. I just don't want to kiss niggas ąss to get off the ground. They'll only help if you're female & pretty.
