I've searched for rota vaccine all over ikorodu no luck, I went to lasuth too no luck, i went to reddington hospital at Ikeja they said 15k I jejely carry my baby comot.

pls who knows any hospital closer to ikorodu or ketu where I can get t this vaccine very quick as hes almost 12weeks already.

We took ours at a private hospital at ojodu,(I didn't want to answer this cause have forgotten the name of the hospital) but conscience no gree me keep quite. U see,the street close to vio office,its called akinsanya street.the hospital is the only hospital on that street,not far once u enter the street,we took two doses,the first one we paid 6k only to want to take the second dose they said its 8k ,well we still took it.

I did it 4 Zoey at 2 or 3 weeks o.
By 4th application she coughed plenty mucor out with the oil.
Since then till today no single cough.

At 7 weeks? Mummy please what's the rush? You're supposed to give only bm or formula till 6 months. If you don't want to wait till then, 4 months is manageable.

And even at 4 months rice, oats are preferable for their tender stomachs than corn (pap). Gerber makes these cereals for supported sitters.

Signs your baby may be ready for cereal:
Can hold head up
Is double birth weight
Can sit up (with assistance)
Leans towards a spoon
Shows interest in your food
Does not push food out using their tongue.

Please it's advisable you stop the pap for now.

Formula feeding and warm water are like 5 and 6.

Once you introduce formula, the general advice is to introduce water to prevent constipation.

Give water at regular intervals. For example, if your baby has 6 bottles of formula a day, you can give 2 or 3 bottles of water (small sips totalling 10-20ml per feed). As your baby grows older, you can increase the quantity and frequency.

Water should never be used as a meal replacement. That is, substituting formula for water when baby is actually hungry.

I hope your baby's constipation has eased now.

in addition to this, since he is so young. Try using a syringe to give the water. ( the type that comes with calpol and the like They only hold about 5ml. That way you dont run the risk of filling them up with water especially if your baby is a champion sucker. Or you use a teaspoon rather than a bottle.

Also try varying the formula as they are all constituted differently and some work better for some babies.

Also some babies may be lactose intolerant, so dont process milk well but in a place like naija where options are scarce we just have to make do and survive .
