In those days when woman leaves her husbands house due to some wahala, ESP if the man was at fault,
The woman's dad sends messages to the mans family. He then gathers his family to go and beg her dad to let her return. Then both families settle the matter. The father of the bride advices his daughter and her mom talks to her and the mans family also talk to him. After that, they decide if the wife should go with the man that same day or give a date when he should come pick her. Na so Dem Dey do am before.
The only time the woman's family goes to beg is if she was caught cheating on him. As in red handed o. Not Dem say Dem say.
But cultural differences may be at play here.

But Tonto was wrong in cutting off ties. How would yshe block him and expect him to call nanny? Or does he always insult her when he calls her phone hence she asked him to call his care taker when ever he wants to ask after the child to avoid tension between them?
If he asks for visitations would Tonto grant him? Does he know where she lives to enable him visit the child? Too many factors at play.
Oh well, I guess we all handle emotional stuff differently. Men and women can be irrational after a breakup. One man did his to the extent of even asking the kids teachers not to allow his ex wife visit her kids. He wouldn't pick her calls and wouldn't let her visit them in school or at church. Tomorrow he would also tell them their mom doesn't care about them that she abandoned them.
