Amazing how a government is willing to dash you responsibility without commensurate reward. Why not gather this group to empower them so they can individually find a wife?

It is not enough to earn and carry about a certificate! That's phase 1.
Life is about relevance and proffering solutions. Someone right now somewhere is looking for someone who can do something for him/her and get paid! Opportunity Meets with preparation! Is your worth only in that paper certificate even though you hardly have a REAL skill?

Therefore;
While you search for that job and keep waiting (very frustrating), DO NOT WAIT IN PERPETUITY! You might consider investing in knowledge-based skill that has unending returns. EACH DAY , YOUR CAPITAL IS YOUR KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & BARE HANDS! More GUARANTEED than any other cash based investment! With smartphones as the future, YOU CAN NEVER GO BROKE.

February 2017 ends tomorrow! The thief you harbour is PROCRASTINATION!

Its better than runs and prostituting themselves or enrolling into a baby factory to sell their illegitimate babies for a measly 20k, as some of you ppl do - its a matter of values, some put a very high premium on moral than worldly and monetary values; while others are prepared to sell their souls and dignity for money.

Heya, sorry. I understand your pain.
All the story you mentioned is not what we are talking about, is it? The thread is about a mass wedding in a region which is already over-populated with uneducated people. Face the topic.

its a pity for the northerners(Muslims states) if u can not finance a bride price, how will u handle a huge responsibility. illiteracy is taking a big advantage on them. Instead of their govt to think of how to reduce d problem in the region, what they r seeing is how to create mor. if u ve be to the north, u will understand. TODAY'S SCRIPTURAL QUOTES; Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 8:12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

let's assume they are then it is still education whether Arabic or English. I have being to the south people there are illiterates. When a Northerner speaks English with a foreign they don't guess that he is Nigerian. We already have a language in Hausa which is as good as english

Quite on the contrary; I am in no pain at all; and no the thread is about a government assisted mass wedding in a particular state based on the choice of about 1520 individuals to go into wedlock (nothing more nothing less) and subsequently by extension, your comment opposing that choice - so pls do not shift the goal post.
In view of this, I was similarly obliged to point out the shortcomings of your choice recommendation for them - its as simple as that.

All this grammar won't help you, sorry. Go back to your previous post and tell me how it is related to what you typed above. See who is talking about shifting goal post. Smh.

My last post was simply a summery of the essence of the tread; your views opposing the mass wedding, my response showing the folly of your position, your rejoinder to my response and lastly my counter-rejoinder to your rejoinder.
If you still can't see the relationship between my responses to your posts; then I am sorry to say you that need to go back to school and revisit your comprehension classes - so much so for your implicitly presumed superior education.

Not only summery, it is autumn! cheesy Neither am I treading anywhere, lol.
Mister, you can sugar coat it anyway you want, but the truth is the North needs to get educated!! Education should not be for a select few.
Of course, I know the truth is a hard pill to swallow. Sorry about that.

How hypocritical and disingenuous; while latching on to my obvious typographical errors you were quick to backtrack and edit out yours in order to ridicule me.

Unfortunately, you failed to realise that you cannot modify an original post that had already been captured and quoted by someone else.

Incase you have forgotten, here is your own unedited clanger that you tried to hide (see my post at exactly 1.49 pm where I quoted your post).

AbujaBoss:
A reception was on Sunday February 26 2017 held for some of the 1,520 couples who were on Friday joined in holy matrimony at mass weddings organised by Kano state government.

The weddings which held in four Juma’at Mosques in Kano metropolis and at the headquarters of the 44 local government areas of the state preceded medical tests conducted on the prospective couples to ascertain their health status.

State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje who spoke at the reception urged the newly-weds to live in peace with one another for their union to last long.

He also noted that joining the couples in suspicious circumstances would make them distrust each other, hence the medical tests that were conducted on them.

Also speaking at the reception, a renowned Islamic Scholar and Commander-General of the State Hisbah board, Sheikh Aminu Daurawa reminded the couples of the need to imbibe the fear of Allah in dealing with their partners.

He also reminded them that they would be made to account for all their deeds in the afterlife.

Shiekh Nasir Adam, the Chief Imam of Shiekh Ahamadu Tijjani Jumuat Mosque called on the couples to imbibe the spirit of fairness as ordained by Islam.

I think we need to raise the marriage age in Nigeria to 21. This should be an effective way of encouraging girls to go to school instead of getting married right out of college.

Mister Summery, I am not responsible for your region being backward. It's you people's problem - sort it out and stop doing free wedding instead of educating your folks.

Just today I was reading an article on education for the girl child and they only mentioned 3 countries - Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan when in actual fact Nigerians know it is only in Northern Nigeria girls will be married off at 15 or earlier instead of going to school. You guys should stop drawing the country backwards abeg. With all the Northern leaders we've had, see the sorry state of the North. What a huge shame. Continue writing epistle online when you guys have bigger issues to face.

I'm free to edit my post if I choose to, so cry all you want, I will be glad to hand you some tissues.
