Hi @40manlappy

Can i PM you and get that 'contact' too Sir? I don't know why things are so difficult with most Nigerian Universities. I have to get my transcripts and "letter in lieu" asap so my ECA can be completed. Thank You.

Also, i listed my MSc. and BEng. degrees to be assessed by WES because I wasn't sure about getting UNILAG's MSc certificate. I already faxed by BSc certificate to WES and my status has changed to awaiting BSc school/institution's verification and awaiting MSc Certificate AND transcript (I'm not sure UNAAB will not ordinarily respond to WES without me approaching them).
Can i send a letter/mail to WES asking them to disregard the BSc evaluation as i can't afford sending transcripts from UNAAB (BSc) and UNILAG(MSc) presently. Besides MSc will give better points than BSc. Thanks.

40manlappy:

Sorry I missed this earlier.

Please send me a PM. Will give you the contact that my wife used to follow-up.

Boldinc and Dupyshoo, is it that one should not have employment gaps or what? Because since after youth service in 2008 I have only worked 2010-2014 please is there any implication? Just want to know before I start filling the EE profile.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by dupyshoo: 3:24pm On Mar 13, 2017
This is obviously not true as you would have been able to answer your questions if you had gone through all the posts.

It is now norm for people to be asking this kind of questions. This will surely stop people from offering help as people will get tired of repeating the same info.

It's ok to have gaps. Just put unemployed.

You can take it out of employment and add it to personal history. That way, you will not need to get a reference letter... As long as you do not need it to add to your work experience as you said.

Thanks

1. No

2. Unless you're hushpuppy and can afford an agent, it's a process you can confidently do on your own. That's what this thread is all about.

3. No age limit, ur age is a determinant in your overall scores. You begin to lose points at age 30 and above. Canada doesn't want old cargoes I guess. U gotta be at least 18 tho

4. Page 0 clearly outlines the entire process from beginning till end. Go through pages 0-5, you'll understand. You can ask specific questions after.

Cheers

Hi. I tried responding to your question yesterday evening and was banned for 24 hours on Nairaland and post deleted. Maybe someone mistakenly clicked on Report cos there was no abusive words in it.

Anyways the summary is that you have to follow up with Lag. UNN uses I-transcript I want to believe they will attend promptly to it via email.

All the best

Hello everybody..do I have to present any proof showing that am legally married to my partner before submitting my express entry? We are not married yet, but I listed her as my spouse.. Thanks house

GrandCommander:

After reading the judgement, I don't think it was NOC mismatch that primarily caused the problem otherwise the application would have just been rejected. What caused the problem is misrepresentation(claiming that you did something which you never did). Probably if he had just got a supervisor s letter in plain paper and Notarized stating his actual position this wouldn't have happen. It is well known that what matters most is that your duties match the NOC code chosen not the title.

Yep. I agree with you.

You will be required to submit your marriage certificate with your PR application. Don't say you are married when you are not. That can be termed as misrepresentation.

Hi All, I just want to let everyone know that l won't be regular on the thread anymore due to changes in my schedule. This might also affect the rate at which I attend to PMs. The good thing is that there are so many people on the thread that are knowledgeable about the process and will be able to answer any questions that may be asked.

I have learnt a lot, made some good friends through this thread and have enjoyed answering questions. I wish everyone on this journey quick PPR and smooth relocation to Canada.

I think a marriage certificate issued and duly signed by a registrar of a Nigerian high court will be adequate. Please, house am I wrong?
