What about your home State of Benue. Are the killings of your people rumours too?

Yes, the police commissioner of Benue State was on tv (AIT) and confirmed the recent market killings had nothing to do with Fulani herdsmen but due splinter groups of a notorious local gang leader, earlier identified and on the run since the amnesty programme in the state.

While this story of helicopter support seems equally quite outlandish, economically improbable and unsustainable to say the least - if you should consider the exorbitant cost of helicopter flights, the risk of being shut down in the hinterland, you will begin to wonder what is there for the Fulani to gain from these killings and by their alleged helicopter sponsors.

Every single murder in the bush is now blamed on "Fulani herdsmen" with no single proof!! This dude just might have been killed by a friend, family member, or colleague, but since herdsmen are trending, it is absolutely selleable puting the blame of every violent crime such as this on them.

You are very stupid and sick for this useless comment of yours

This is becoming ridiculous.

200 L in 2017 an expert in current issues? Please go n watch BBN as your mates are doing n leave issues for your fathers mate to handle since your generations has not shown capacity to learn n lead.
Its not your fault but access to social media. I was in 200 L over 22 years ago.
You have not seen life yet, face your book n learn
and so what? If u have been in 200level 22years ago, does that mean u are more knowledgeable than him??abi what has solomon's wisdom got to do with methuselah's age?? Nonsense, this is why Africa is so backward. I don't know if its the younger generations fault that they weren 't born earlier or its your choice that you were born earlier..... Yeye elders trying to intimidate younger ones with there age that is not their achievement, but just a situational accident .

THE REAL PROBLEM IN DELTA STATE IS OKOWA. OKOWA IS POSSESSED. HE IS ONLY AFTER MONEY. DELTA IS A PDP STATE. WHY IN THE WORLD IS OKOWA SILENT ON THIS. WHY HAS HE NOT ASKED FOR THE ASSISTANT OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN GETTING RID OF THESE HERDSMEN.
I AM OF THE OPINION THAT DELTA SHOULD INPEACH OKOWA NOW BEFORE THINGS GET OUT OF HAND. ON THE OTHERHAND EVERY DELTA MAN AND WOMAN IS ADVISED TO ARM THEMSELVES . IF OKOWA REFUSE TO ACT, THEN EVERYONE MUST GO TO WAR AGAINST THESE BOKO HARAM THAT IS NOW CALLED HERDSMEN IN DELTA. DELTA MILITANTS SHOULD NOT ONLY THINK OF OIL. THIS IS THE TIME TO FIGHT.THIS IS THE REAL FIGHT. TIME TO FIGHT FOR YOUR LAND. BAN HERDSMEN FROM EVERY TOWN IN DELTA STATE NOW.

OmG you'd better not ask that question or else you will be labelled as supporting them

Many criminals are now hiding under these 'fulani herdsmen' trend

many jealous farmers and local rivals are getting away with murder knowing full well beer parlour investigators and their fellow half baked journalist will conclude murder case before even reporting the crimes to the police

Oga leave stories. I am not buying any of that nonsense. Like i said last night, if it hadn't been revealed a family member was behind the butchery of that guy in Enugu (or so), and we have had just pictures to go by, I am ONE BILLION PERCENT SURE it would have been blamed on "Fulani herdsmen".

How can we just continue blaming these guys for all such incidents that happen in remote areas without proof?

Two days ago, in my village, a guy lured a friend of his (both are criminals by the way) to some bush path where he had a couple other guys waiting, and had him butchered over some deal that went bad. Such an incident could easily have been blamed on herdsmen if the truth hadn't come out.

I am not a fool and will not accept these things without evidence. Granted, there are some criminal herdsmen out there, but so also are there criminals from every part of the country. If we keep attributing all crimes to herdsmen while the real culprits still lurk in the shadows, we might NEVER get to put an end to the crimes.

Indeed. I could remember when boko haram was trending about a couple of years ago, almost every single crime was blamed on the rampaging beasts. Suddenly, it appeared as though there were no more armed robbers, cultists, ritualists, rapists, and the like. Very pathetic.

... Please keep mute. Your hypocrisy stinks. Of course you can blame the 1966 coup on innocent igbos. No problem. You can blame every Tom, Dick and Harry caught in Asia for drug exploits on other hardworking igbos. No problem! But every horrendous, provable crimes as witnessed by nigerians and committed against them by the Fulani herdsmen can't be blamed on the Fulani herdsmen. Ride on. I love the opium you are taken. Keep deceiving yourself.
