The gun sent hot urine, sliding through my vas defrens to the silky pant i wore. Many thoughts flashed through my mind: Dying, for being engaged with another being, became rather dominant.

"What are guns used for" Jafar repeated, flickering its metal hole at my face. I swear, i could see the lead bullets dangle- my eyes coloured up in mist. Turning to Juliet's direction, I could catch a glimpse of her chapped lips and shivering body. Right there, I knew she was afraid of losing-- Losing the friend, she just kissed: Losing me.

"You know eeh, Am the only junior KP wey carry mata enter blood river, come out with 99 morale" He spoke in a confusing Pidgin, which i can't quite understand as Echoes of laughter from his entourage raided the classroom. My teeth jittered, my heart stooped, my skinpores dilated-- sweat traveled down my forehead, in glutty lines.

"Say your last pray..."
"Please Jafar don't do this" Juliet interrupted, but, was kept mute with a shaky band of slap.

He stucked the gun into my mouth, almost injuring my maxilla. I closed my eyes, embracing the gravy air , i breathe in. I was leaving this world in few seconds- the worst is to pray for sins, I commited knowingly.

I heard the gun click, and a sound reverbrated- A gunshot!!!.. It wasn't mine. Quickly, I opened my eyes, only to see: Jafar and his men scampering out of the classroom. Someone held me from behind. In a swift turn, I turned, and, saw Juliet crying profusely.

"I thought..." She couldn't finish, her body quivered. I felt heart-waned, This wasn't the strong Juliet, I knew-- She saw something; way beyound imaginations.

I cuddled her for some seconds, Pouring out our fears into the Love-warming embrace.

"Hello!!. We need you guys" someone said behind our back. the man was clad in a police uniform, followed by two others, dressed in the same attire. He informed us, that we need to come to the police station, to answer few questions-- we obligedy. We went outside: students has gathered in Quantos, to see the duel, that got attacked.

"Jafar has been in our black list for so long, we had information, he strolled inside here. I guess that was when he almost kicked your bucket" The policeman in dreadlocks said, as we plodded to the Black Benz parked just few meters from the area of our assault. I couldn't say anything, my spirit, mind and body seemed traumatised, but cluging unto Juliet's cold body was abit relieving.

"Thanks" I finally muttered, before we entered the car, side-guarded by the dreadlock man and another which look, not less than a bouncer. We zoomed off, leaving the gossiper and gistmongers with blurry dust particles to inhale.

"Where is your office?" I remembered, but got no response. I turned to the man on dreadlocks and his face gave a deadly smirk. I became confused. Juliet noticed, the rekindling moment as her face grew pale.

"Did i just jump from River Niger to atlantic ocean" I asked within myself, Laughing coldly at my awesome stupidity. Just then his phone rang.

The fear of death is the begining of wisdom-- how funny it sounds, the whole happenings looked comedical. Few minutes ago, I was struggling with my life; which was to be ended by a dreaded cultist. Now, am here in the middle of nowhere, abducted by acclaimed Policemen, whom I never knew were Snookers in saviour's armour. I could still remember the look, in the dreadlocks man's face, when I struggled to... Sitting here in a room, I can't really define, sent goose dumps riding down its axis. I stared at Juliet, who laid on my laps sleeping helplessly, after much crying sessions. The room was filled with dark air, flowing from a tinyhole, that sent reflected Light rays right into my eyes.

"How'd my life become all this messed-up?", I reckoned rheotorical, asking noone in Particular. The answer i recieved--A big bang of the door--Revealing the huge frame of the dreadlocks man: A stick of cigarette centered in his semi-dark lips, and a blood-shot eyes that can trail a "squire" to convulsion.

"Make una no try any run-away show, we go see tomorrow morning" he blurted in pidgin "Okon, go give you food"

He pointed at another man, in the same bodyframe; The only difference is the hair and the lips, because, the latter seems to be the "man of the hour" when it comes to Marijuana-- His lip were dark, with charred spots scattered around the flesh. He completed his speech and ambled out of the room, followed by the pre-introduced Okon-- who casted a deadly look at me.

Juliet has already swerved into consciousness, inquiring about the man's sayings. Right there, I knew many things were about to happen, not just to me, but also, to the new damsel in my life. I guess our first kiss, landed us in a New Home. I can't tell , but i know something big was approaching. I can't tell how close it is, hence, I pray it's not nearer than i think.

!X!MIMI'S POV

I haven't heard from Richard, after the burial ceremony. Uncomfortable with the act which played by Richard. I decided to get hold of moment, by visiting him at his destination. Glancing through my hologram, which displayed eight-thirty in time romans. Despite the factiful fact, about not an encourager of Nightwalks, nothing will be ever-reviving than, staying in a loose sand with Richard, grining over yesterday's stupidity. Janet, my roommate, although no longer straight-up with me, swore to have noticed how emotional i have grown towards Richard. I tried denying it, but can the hear be cryptic enough to hid such an awesome feeling called Love.

Reaching Richard's abode, His doors were locked. I asked his neigbours; they denied knowing his whereabouts. The Richard i know, would never stay lurking at night. I dialed his line-- just like i predicted--switched off. I called Richard's mother to inquire, If Richard visited unexpectantly, but got the same answer. She tried asking questions, which i nervously averted with arbitrary nutires.

Walking down the grassy lane to my home, I could feel the air grow itchy, the sweetness of the wild wind straddled my inner being, sending fear mumps down my throat. I could hear footsteps approach, I increased my pace and they did same. I stopped and looked back, only to..

Am sorry, things got messy, we would have been somewhere "there", Uniting our lost souls, but here we are" He stopped, looked at my face-- I could notice some tears swell around his eyelines. I stared into those eyes, despite seeing fear lurk inside, the Iris of love still walked in its snows.

"I promise you" He continued "We will make it out of "this" together".

those words were like magic. We couldn't hold the tears any longer as it flowed. I hid my innerbeing in his comforting mid-riff.

After the encounter with the school security men-- I thought were assailants, I swam in the river of distress , on my way home. I could make out faces on trees, people standing, just beside me. I later reached home, seeing Janet dressing up.

"Where are you going to?" I asked, although i know, she was on the road to her everyday "runs-ship".

" You coming back now?, hmm, I smell something fishy. Have you gone to see Your one and only Richard?" She teased, still sitting infront of an Acapel mirror, applying a mascara.

"I didn't meet him" I said wanily.

"Oh Lovelies!!, Don't worry girl, you will see him tomorrow" she pacified. "So you haven't heard the news?".

When I recieved a call from Mimi; asking about the whereabout of Richard, I concluded within me that something was fishy. I tried bringing her to terms, inorder to get the dice, but she professionally scurried the questions. After answering her call, I dialed Richard's and it was switched off-- which wasn't a typical characteristic of Richard. Fear burged out of me. Truth to be spoken, I have been very afraid of losing Richard , after the death of Reuben my husband. I talked to Mr songs about it, and, he promised to get hooks. I couldn't sleep, My heart was racing, my mind kept moulding scary questions and all were terrifying.
Just when I was about to walk into subconsciousness, My phone sang. I picked it up from the stool where it slept, and the screen showed an Unknown number.

"Hello, Mrs abboth" A female voice said at the other end of the phone. Bracing up, I glanced at my phone before returning the phone to my ear.

"So, you don't remember" The light flashed in, It was same female voice that called me, before the death of my husband.

"Why did you kill him?, who are you?, what do you want with me?" I blurted uncontrollably, As tears rode down my cheeks.

"Oh, I will answer you later, but for now, you need some papers to sign. Understand that i don't negotiate, and besides, I have your son with me!!"
