They should not pay their cashiers more than 20k because majority of them are not worth it. Very rude and useless cashiers. The customer service is extremely poor at shoprite. They have this carefree attitude towards customers because they believe you'll buy whether you like it or not. The most annoying is when you want to pay for an item, they tell you there is no change and don't make any effort to convince to either add something or look for the balance for you. They just expect you to drop the item and go. And I'm sure they'll be complaining about poor salaries when they are not doing their jobs well. Even their supervisors are air heads. They just be looking like fools and un bothered.

Most cashiers and sales ppl are not full staff and thry collect less than 60k. Full staff take over 100 and anybody from controllet above takes over 200. Admin manager and above take around 300upwards. The extra benefit is the daily feeding allowance which allows them to takr some items free of charge. Some staff dont even touch their salary, feeding from this allowance.

Wow & they don't even do that for South Africans. No feeding allowance.

The other day i went to make an inquire about how one would submitte cv or application letter, a security man told me that they have a link where you can log on to place your cv and others, i then told him to please give me the link he told me that they dont give people the link. I was just lost
