Hello everyone. Been ages ooo. I greet you all.

My babies just clocked 10months and no teeth yet. I was advised to start giving teething drugs like pican and Bonabebe before the tooth erupts. Abeg my people, na so?... is this a normal practice?

Hey babes, congrats to the twins!

Please don't use any drugs! On a lighter note, have you seen anybody without teeth? *food for thought* tongue

good morning and happy Easter to everyone.
please I need your help. my sin has been stooling since Thursday. though in different variations. initially it was thick and then it became watery and slimy almost after every meal. right now I can't remember the last time I changed a nappy without poo in it. and its giving me cause for concern. its almost like marathon.

he takes cereal and pap which I give him with spoon and I only use the feeding bottle for giving him water which is properly sterilized. initially I was adding tom brown to his pap but stopped when the stooling started. I took him to the hospital yesterday and the did test for him and the result was OK. no infection. I was given ors in sachet to give to him.

I'm just tired and I feel he is losing weight. is there anything I can do. this is someone who only poops in a day. the takes Sma pro, the foreign one as his milk. he is teething because I can see a tooth coming out already. could that be the culprit. he completed his rotavirus immunisation.

.

sorry dear, I missed ur mention. How old is your son? How far with the stooling?

I used enfamil for my son he vomited. I was asked to get Similac sensitive something for him he vomited as well. Feddy27 recommend isomil (soybased Similac) and he doesn't vomit it. That's what we have been using. You might want to try soybased milk too.
If I even give him cereal that contains milk like frisogold etc, he vomits it.
Anyways your breastmilk supply is fantastic you no need formula. How are you guys doing?
I'll try the Isomil then. He makes a funny face, gags and then throws up when I give him the Enfamil. We are doing great oo. Already cutting teeth and trying to stand grin When next are you coming stateside? We are planning parry oo grin grin

While caring for our babies , its mama's turn.my hair that was full during pregnancy is falling out seriously. Like 2 handfuls removed while washing yesterday and all edges in front all removing.is it pregnancy hormones dt is responsible or after pregnancy hormones. With time, one will just turn to pa Ajirebi.anyone else experiencing this and what's d solution?
Pimples won't leave ma face o. All my fresh an spot free face during pregnancy has become sometin else to d extent dt it's d first tin people talk and wen they see me. I don't care anymore sha.
I posted in the preggos forum about relaxing your hair after pregnancy more than 3 months back. You should not relax your hair for at least 3 months after giving birth. If you do for a lot of people it causes severe hair loss. This is due to the loss of the pregnancy hormones that causes your hair to grow and be full. The hair goes back to status quo and is easily damaged by relaxer. I didn't know this during my first pregnancy and it took me almost 3 years for my hair to return to normal. My baby is 3 1/2 months old now and he will be 6 months before I think of relaxing the hair and so far my hair loss has been very minimal.

Please don't give them anything. The teeth will come in when they want to. My baby's sitter pressured me to tell my folks to bring me Piccan and teething powder from Nigeria because the baby will need it for teething. I grudgingly told my sister to buy me one bottle. This sitter, an elderly woman kept asking me if I gave him the Piccan and I said yes. She said he's teething because he is spraying spit and pooping not minding the fact that my son has always been a great pooper. Even me him mama, dey poop at least once or twice a day (I have always been that way) grin grin

Long story short, my baby crowned his first tooth at 61/2 months with no fever or swollen gums. I only knew they popped because he brought my hand to his mouth and I felt the sharp edges of the tooth. The Piccan is in a drawer in the kitchen...unopened.

It's not necessary to sweeten a child's pap. If you want to natural sweeteners such as banana or mashed apples are okay.
But if you must, Milo I think is better sha.
