Good morning,
Please, I need help with making a decision. I am in the EE pool with 401 score and I received NOI from Ontario. Written ielts 3 times in search of 8 in listening. Latest ielts score is LRSW 8.5, 5.5, 7, 7

1. Should I accept NOI and apply for PNP?
2. Should I retake IELTS... 4th time or request re-mark for reading? Or,
3. Should I be hopeful scores fall to 401 in next 2 draws if it continues to fall at present rate?

This my small head wants to blow up. Help pls!

Hello. I think you should do option 2 because the minimum acceptable score in each band is 6. See screenshot below:

Good morning Gurus in the house. Thanks for all your powerful contributions. please l'd like to ask if it must be "General Training" one must take for the IELTS exam for EE? I have academic already.

i got my ielts result yesterday LRSW :8.5, 8.5, 7.5, 7. I hope this suffices because my hubby does not plan to write or verify his degree (PhD). I am a pharmacist. Current CRS: 431

I wish the writing was better, i blame my self though. i didn't practice writing at all. i just focused on listening and reading.

This is a fantastic result! Just take a dive into the pool and start gathering your documents immediately cheesy

You should get ITA at the next draw.

@sammyacbxyz Just go for your IELTS bro. Besides, CRS may favor you at the next draw going by the current profile of candidates in the Express Entry pool.

Please for the listening, even after practice practice practice, you have to be extremely calm during the exam.Just try to stay as calm as ever, that is when you will be able to hear the conversations clearly and decipher the answers.God will help you.Goodluck

Thanks for your response. The information is actually for my wife and she is not the primary applicant. I just posted the question so I can know what to tell her to start telling her office to prepare in terms of reference.

Oh beautiful, she can use any NOC since she's not the PA. Good luck

That's if they listen to you but really repetitive questions are boring. I think you are about the only person not bored with responding to same questions.

Also in dat category. So painful dat I scored 7.5,7,7,7 in L, S, W, R. Imagine, just 0.5 to make 8 in listening which would have given me d desired result. It's more painful when I think of d fact dat it's a difference of just 1 or 2 marks more to get d 8 point. If not dat d listening is more of objective/straight answer like mathematics, I would have been d first do seek for a remark.

I've downloaded enough listening materials from youtube as advised here and just started practising. Unfortunately I've only scored between 31-33 in d 4 I've done. I need at least 35 to get d 8 and above points. Really scared of rewriting d exam but should rewrite by God's grace in few weeks. Please pray for us all guyz! I swear I don tire for Naija. God bless our hustle!

People should be using transfer...British Council's account number isn't static here: let's use $$$$$##** for example...dollar sign represents d city u wanna do d test,d two hash signs epresent d month u want to take d test and 2 asterisks represent d last two digits from ur passport.

After u have written the N68,000 in words, put a comma and write ur full ref number with hyphens, put a hyphen and write ur full bame.
Account holder: British council.

No need to dhl a thing or hassle to their offices. Even Ikoyi isn't easy for Lagos folks. And d queue there is annoying as they understaff d customer service desk. I think they wonder why we still bring in draft. I told them to go and educate d banks and their staff.

Some banks or branches don't know jack on this..so after getting ur code which is the acct number u will input, print off this attached file for convincing them that bank draft is d difficult costly old method. Even GTB at Adeyemo Alakija had no clue until I taught them.

Online payment is the best. I paid online four days ago and I got a confirmation mail two days later. I wasn't even required to go to the British Council office for anything.

I use GTBank. Very stress free.

[quote author=Bimpsy99 post=55792146]I doubt if WES would evaluate your certification based on what is on their site as seen below. The only exception I have seen so far is ACCA. You can goggle to see if anyone has successfully gotten an evaluation otherwise let it go.

Does WES evaluate work experience?
[i]WES evaluates formal secondary and post-secondary academic credentials only. WES does not assess professional designation, professional competence or experience.[i]

My dear pls don't let your head blow up, you will scale through. I would advise that you register for the next ielts and do all in your power to ace it. Several links to practicing for listening is available on this thread. There's even another thread for ielts. Pls study and practice fervently and ace this ielts. What's the worse case scenario? The scores start going up abi? With a great score, that wouldn't matter to you because your score would be above 450 or 460. Additionally, if you can learn French and take the TEF, that would add more points to your score.
IELTS can be frustrating but you can do this. Get your spouse to do ECA and take IELTS to increase your points.

You can also chill and see, the scores might just come down to your Favour and ielts might not be necessary anymore.

Do we have option for online payment in Nigeria? I've not heard of that o.

If it's possible, who enjoys stress. I can pay with my card. I'm tired of all these tedious registration processes.

Hello,
You can use the CRS tool to calculate your score. And since you are married, your spouse can also do her ECA and write IELTS and through that you can get additional points.[/quotej
