Something must be wrong with this guy undecided

So you come to a tourism thread to spread rubbish about your own country.
Where and where have you been to in this country?
Have you been to Gombe town? What of Abuja? Jos? Uyo? And other towns that are not bad at all in terms of infrastructure across the country?
You have not and you are saying nonsense.

We all know that Nigeria has some challenges, chief amongst them is the power, and the infrastructure deficit, that does not mean that Nigeria is not a country worth living in tho.

Millions of foreigners are living there, and have no plans of going home, some even struggle for our nationality, so what are you saying?

This is a tourism thread, please don't derail it.

@Topic
BedLam nice one jare, keep the photos coming

God bless you, obviously inferiority complex is their problem. Most of them forget that people all over the world are reading the rubbish they post on a daily basis about Nigeria, and these are mostly people that haven't left their villages for any other state but they judge Nigeria based on the condition in their villages, smh

Wow! These pictures are really nice. Brings back feelings of nostalgia for Nairobi. Their "matatus" (buses) were quite nice with their graffiti. Are they still there? Would have liked it if you could share these photos and your trip on poontoe.com Well done!

Oga BedLam i have a question for you.
Lets assume you have a family of one wife, one husband and four children between say 6 - 15 years. What do you spend per week on the basic needs of such a family? Since you now in kenya, we can compare cost of living. Here we have what is called consumer index that compiles the price of those basics called a food basket. We will use prevailing PPP dollar rate or black market rate for comparison.

Don't answer immediately, take time since you just new.

Shut your filty mouth you bigot.where the hell have you been to thar you are ranting and displaying your high level of folly and ignorance. You claim to have visited the places you mentioned yet you are still uncultured and uncivilised.Did i say Nigeria is not a place to stay? The only thing i pointed out is the lack of basic amenities denied of the masses.Or if you have them in your area provided probably by an individual, are they evenly distributed?Let's face the fact!As for you Ugosample or whatever you call yourself,it is your entire generation that something is wrong with!If it is all well for you in naija, why did you leave there you hypocrite!

@Pidgin,I doubt if you have ever stepped out of naija to experience life outside.I mean in a peaceful country and not all these racist or war zone countries.I have lived in different countries and i can boldly say that Nigeria is lacking in so many ways.A country you cannot boast of security, sleeping with fear of robbers or kidnappers.A country you cannot come out to relax outside or within your premises upto 12midnight without fear.A coumtry where nothing works,no law or justice, corruption and nepotism trolling everywhere like no man's business. You are talking trash and asking silly questions if our forefathers didn't live comfortably without all these basic amenities but you forgot that Naija wasn't like this in their time. Then there were zero cases of kidnapping and less of stealing e.t.c.Nigeria is blessed among countries in the world everyone knows but our bad leaders have made living uncomfortable for us depriving us of the basic necessities of life, something some of us are enjoying in other countries so why won't i stand by the truth.Pidgeon or pidgin stop all of those blind arguement and undeserved patrotism.

Please and please, avoid engaging with that moniker. The moniker you quoted is well-known for infecting and derailing threads in this section of Nairaland with her toxic vitriol. Let's just keep on enjoying the OP's thread, no need for this drama.

I think there's no competition at all in the telecom sector. You hardly know if there are other carriers like Airtel. Safaricom is the only thing you see.

I'd rather have a local company I can place my trust on than a foreign one. Airtel and the likes exist but they know their place. Safcom is very innovative and a trusted brand here

Okay. Imagine a hamper containing :
Maize flour/ Garri of 6-8 kg
Cooking oil/ fat 1 litre or 750g
Bar of washing soap 1 kg
Bar of bathing soap 750 g
Sugar 2 kg
50 g salt

The absolute essentials for a family whose combined income per month is 50,000 kshs (500$) . Have i missed something? ...add on. Compile a price list in Naira and convert into dollars and lets see how much it costs.

for what I know l, sugar should be 200NGN which is half a dollar.
Soap? Man I don't buy these things. I'm married
Last I heard garri is above 1000 which is about 3-5 dollars and I don't know the measurement.
Cooking oil, mmmmm. I don't know lol
I know 1 KG of detergent should be about 1000 to 1500.
In all of these , I can be wrong.

Smh. I have a lot on my plate to know these. If there's no problem with buying them, I don't think there's anything else to know about them. I don't have to know everything. Just like my wife don't care about some aspect of the house stuff. In that way, we know where we are to handle and do it efficiently.
