holuwartomeseen:you're right abt no 1. It's D. But i disagree in number 5. I agree up to the extent of the new equations: 8x + 20y = 44 ---- (3) 35x + 20y = 10 ---- [4] then: equ.4 into equ. 3 27x = -34 x = - 34/27 then you sub the answer into equ. 1 to get 'y' which is 73/27 |
