Recently a friend suffered similar fate but his own was called stroke left hand and left leg paralysed. we took him to a ct scan and nothing was found in his brain. The hospital referred us to lagos state teaching hospital. I wept when I saw the condition of the hospital. As we are waiting for our turn, a woman just approached me to ask if this is stroke and I said yes. She question why I ve to come to hospital instead of visitng a trado medical healer. At the end she recommended one to us and to God be the glory the young man is working now. Is a terrible illness that won't allow u do anything except with the help of others. I will suggest u seek trado medical help for ur man

Please can you hook me up with the trado med. Healer
My granny is down with stroke .its not been easy with her

Pray such misfortune doesn't befall you. And for your information, you sound like shit
oga, can't you read

are you capable of logical reasoning at all

he visited village, okay, what of the many other things he did asides village? did he have any grudge with someone who perhaps poisoned him? does he have a family member that stands to profit from his demise? is he the type that handles his health with levity?

there are so many things that could be responsible for his paralysis and it's pure intellectual laziness to quickly assume his visiting his village is responsible, think bro, think!!!

It's obvious he's suffering from Guillian-Barre Syndrome.

@ Diplomaticbeing

It could be GBS as you said but you do not say obviously (which is 100%) in a case you do not have a good clinical presenting details
Only a magician or traditional healer with have a definitive diagnosis without full history and examination or even investigations.
If you are a medical student or an aspiring one, never say such during bedside teaching, ward round or examination.

If OFM is fully booked, you can try SCOAN, aka ndi vilage at work, if you can't fight them to finish please don't try them, I do skip those village people as CD use to skip it self from the player, but now that I know my root in Christ Jesus na who dem be? then, if I am coming home, I use to snick into our compound at night and if I am going back to my base, I will gently carry my bag as early as 5am as a Lag boy I am off. But now, through the blood of Jesus Christ I am stronger than thousand of them put together. Probably your friend has gone to displayed wealth and trust those hargard looking men and women in the village who will not progress and they won't allow others to progress.

Hmmm, Africa magic at work.

But I still wonder why people can not do anything about such nonsense when there are different means to protect yourself from such with counter magic. Black magic can be undone with white magic.

Therefore, A caused B.

eg The rooster crows before sunrise, therefore the crowing rooster causes the sun to rise

I might have had same submission, months back. I spent 4 months in Benin January - April, and can tell you that all you hear about Benin, are no exaggerations. I'm not into all that superstition, but the evil I witnessed first hand during my stay there, is story for another day.
That's the exact reason why the posters before you made those submissions.

When I saw your comment, first thing I did was to search online for this syndrome.
I must say the way the man's ailment was described is very similar to it. Pay no heed to those who mock you. They are all of the opinion that it is "jazz" at work.

You do yourself a disservice by responding to them. Never bring yourself to that level. NL is filled with airheads and idle mischief makers.

I know a friend that has it but it has been a while since I set my eyes on him. Why don't you download droidfish chess app? It is the hardest chess app I have played. Chess free is also good.

There was no proximal ascending myopathy in this patient to warrant you to call it GBS
Moreover, you can't just diagnose GBS like that without History, Physical examination and investigations
So oga, park well

Nigeria has 36 states and the federal capital territory. In all these states, it is normal that crime and unfortunate incidents occur on a daily basis especially with the failed government we have in Nigeria. But for a moderator to bring to the most popular Nigerian site, three unfortunate report from a state for public awareness and discussion obviously shows more of a hypocritic and tribal bigotry mindset.

Now that you have decided to show your hatred for Edo state, i hope your bank account has increased and your joy is full. i just want to let you know that your quest to paint the state bad is a futile one and can never be successful.

Calm down bross, no vex

Good question.
He took the history and examined the patient on Nairaland....
If he specify the condition wouldn't you at least think he may know something we don't? ..... we can choose to remain in ignorance and blame it on the village people.... or we can Google the name of the disease and educate ourselves before commenting. It's year 2017..... why are we still with 1720 mentality?
