Bro, let's leave sentiment aside. I stay in port Harcourt too Oyigbo to be precise. Everywhere is on lock down. All the Igbo markets are shot down, from timber to stell village haba bros....even the popular oyibo express is almost empty except for fees cars passing into portharcourt town.

I won't be surprised if eleme is not on shot down, we all know that's not one of the strong area were you will see Igbo's, that area is mostly filled with hausas

I heard Oyigbo is on lockdown. Oyigbo isn't Port Harcourt. It's more or less a completely Igbo town.

I drove to my office at Onne transversing through a large part of Port Harcourt but businesses are on as usual, schools are open and community markets are on. God bless Nigeria. Expect photos later.

You are not saying the truth. For you to drive as you said without the usual hold ups means that the sit at home is going on. I also live in Port Harcourt and I live on the route you are talking about.

I drove past half of Port Harcourt and all the indigenous markets are on and busy. Onne is surely a different town. I will move into town around 12 and get photos.

Ikwerres might be Igbo but they prefer not being associated with Igbo movements and organisations. If you observe very well Obigbo/Oyigbo is more like mini-Aba in way of life and lingua franca than nearby Port Harcourt.

I just saw a news report that Aba, Onitsha, Owerri and Enugu streets but from the look of things I still doubt that of Onitsha and Enugu because Aba and Owerri are the hotbeds and headquarters of IPOB/MASSOB/BIM.

LIAR!!! God cannot bless what he did not create is like asking God to bless the table in your house.

Off-Topic
I love this quote. Thank you for giving me a quote to use against all religions. I just can't resist using its logic. It's just too apt. So here is how I reframe it:

God cannot bless any religion because he did not create any one of them. A newborn child is not a Christian, a Muslim, a Hindu, a Buddhist, a Shinto.

I once asked a three year old girl 'where is God'? Thinking the little one would point to the heavens, I was surprised when she said' I don't know oo'' But I know that five or six years from now she will know as per indoctrination.

For the record I am not an atheist.

Cheers.

I am disappointed at the OP. Nigeria mudered mainly 3million Igbo children in a genocide way and we are remembering them today and you are here to shout "God bless Nigeria" .
what a coward act!
May the souls of the 1967-1970 genocide rest in peace and may their ghosts haunt Nigeria forever. AMEN
