When I served, I had a guy in my Local Government who studied Aeronautic engineering abroad and had an Msc. As a corper, NYSC posted this aeronautic engineer to a Nursery and Primary school to teach.

Subsequently, NYSC introduced skills acquisition courses where graduates are taught how to fry puff-puff and make zobo drinks for sale.

This administration is obviously bent on breaking previous records it has set for itself in stupidity.

DG just got this info late. 3 corps members that we both served at Okada, Edo state were posted to a big farm though, they studied agricultural related courses.

good i once recommended this agriculture scheme to my DG who was a member of NYSC restructure committee 2003.
But govt should mechanize the system so it be less stressful and attractive to corpers.
their remuneration should also increase to enable those who want to continue in this field as a means of livelihood rather waiting for govt employment which never comes.

Very very impressive, we can't all be looking for white collar jobs every year while we can use our farm lands. Please kudos APC if possible duplicate OTA farm in all 36 states two each. excellent move guys good job

May God punish APC and anyone who believes in it. While buhari, Tinubu and co post their children to CBN, FIRS and CUSTOMS they decided the children of the poor should be sent to farms? What

? What humiliation?! After all the parents have spent on their children? who owns the produce from such farms? Is this scheme not a way to enrich themselves at the expense of corpers whose fathers are not directors and well connected. This country is a joke! If corpers must work in farms then it MUST be their own personal farms WITH GOVTs SUPPORT. Nothing more!
