dobokiy: Anybody calling for referendum on Biafra issue is clutching a straw. The call for referendum is hogwash that will not see the light. The actualization of Republic of Igbo land or Biafra should follow the footsteps of what happened in the defunct USSR and Czechoslovakia, thus gentleman's agreement to disengage or total war. The nation state issues in Nigeria have gone beyond textbook approach. 4 Likes |

NLPsychologist: Who were the Igbo elders?? Who appointed them as elders? This agitation is not spear headed by the elders so you don't expect them to be at the fore front of it. The governors are natural sell out! You don't expect them to bite the hands that feed them openly do you? Just So you know most of them are closet biafrains. 5 Likes |

*In 1927, a certain Felix Okonkwo who later became a member of Kano house of chiefs in the '50s founded a groundnut trading business along the rail lines of Kano state. He had many sons, so he named his business Okonkwo and sons which was pronounced as kwankwasons by the locals based on Hausa accent. Kwankwasons later became kwankwaso and later a kwankwason became governor in Kano state. Would Gov. Rabiu Kwankwaso also leave Kano come October 2017?. On a serious note I stand for the referendum to hold. The foundation of this country is very faulty. 1 Like |

MasterChen: You dey mind those idiotic illiterates? They don't even understand what is being discussed. Ask them to go to school, they tell you no, that they want to be businessmen selling spare parts at Alaba. Ask many of them what referendum is, they won't be able to answer you. Now, some of their folks who went to school are talking, instead of them to allow those ones to take control, it is the illiterate and narcissistic Nnamdi Kanu they will prefer to make their hero. 4 Likes |

TroubleMaker47: Just discovered sarcasm have you, mate? It’s a useful tool, but tread carefully – you’ve got to have the wit to back it up, or it becomes labored, unamusing, dull, ill-informed, and you end up looking a pillock. because I don't see how this post relate to the Yorubas 3 Likes |

xcolanto: As it stands, there is nothing like biafra right now. It is a future tense. Those elders negotiated the safety of Igbos. I expected you to be gratefull for them and not refer to them as "closet" whatever 1 Like |

Confusion in the land. T- together E- everyone A- achieve M- more. No tribe or ethnic group can be better when Nigeria is divided. There would be more emerging crisis. We are not oblivious of the consequence, and what's happening in Sudan. |
