Oh wow! You sound like a local. I am guessing you have visited Canada a number of times? Please give me the gist....what should I expect in Ontario? How are the people? I know that the cost of living there is quite high, so we will have to be prudent.

Hmmmm....Square One Mall....sounds like my new home address. lol. *coughs* so much for prudence! grin

Mississauga is great too! I literally slept in square one mall. Have fun!
I'll drop in from time to time.

Seems like I over reached on that 5 posts in 5 days goal. Maybe I should hit the reset button on that one? I intend to pull an all-nighter tonight, so there should be a post or two up by tomorrow morning, God willing. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. They were just what I needed smiley

God bless you all.

No need to hurry and take it with 424 points considering the $1500 CAD involved and that NOI is now valid for 60 days I guess. Wait till it's almost few days to expire before taking it, that's if you're still not invited to apply. You may just be abt 3 or 4 draws away from direct ITA and it's worth the wait. But if u have plenny cash to splash, just go ahead.

Thanks. I'm just afraid that the PNP quota might fill up and I might lose out. No excess cash o. Lol
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by impish: 9:25pm On Jul 18, 2017
Dear phf2be ank kemkem,

I feel you both. We were in your shoes in November 2015, and we decided to go down the O-PNP route. Tbh, our decision was made easier because the last draws at the time had been 489 and higher, while our score was in the early 420s. We sometimes wonder if we should have waited patiently then and saved the $1500, especially when we think of how long we had to wait to get PPR and CoPR. Our friends who got ITA in February 2017 already have their PPR! But we had no way of knowing back then, and we made an informed decision based on the information that we had available to us then. If we had to do it all over again, we would do the exact same thing.

My point is that there is no right or wrong decision here. There is no certainty that the cut-off will go back down to the 413 levels we have recently witnessed. However, this outcome is more probable now than it was in November 2015 given recent precedents. I would agree with Algbenguze and say that you should wait till the end of the 60 + 14 day validity period before taking a decision. Whatever decision you take, know that you are one step closer to your Canadian Dream!

Wishing you all the best, and God's grace and wisdom.

phf2be:
At 424, shouldn't I just take this NOI from Ontario and run? Is there hope for ITA? sad

This is true, there is also this risk to consider. Perhaps give it a draw or two? But it is so hard to call.

From the on-going trend, you might get ITA in the next 2 draws if not in the next... I will advise you wait for the next 2 draws and see what happens. If I'm not mistaken, you have 45 days to respond to Ontario, so hold on that while you observe the next 2 draws... Cool?

Cool.....cheers!

Congratulations to all PPR candidates....

Quick question...

If second degree certificate is not ready can one use statement of result , ECA, transcript and a letter of explanation that noting that when it's ready twill be sent via CSE and it's the fault of the University for withdrawing certificates for that set due to errors therein ...

While you are waiting, please familiarise yourself with the requirements for Ontario PNP ...I mean the docs that are required to be submitted with your application if you go down that route. The last thing you want to do is to start the document gathering process when you have very limited time.

All the best!
