Lagos-Calabar will pass through the south eastern states as well
Bolustical:
It is their problem, not ours.

When their self professed son GEJ was in power,

They saw him work on the Abuja-Kaduna rail road,

They saw him construct roads in the north and build Alamajiri schools,

The Igbo elders were more interested in money sharing and not infrastructural development,

Politics is all about interests,

Reason why we SWers are wiser, now that we are are the center, all rail projects have been initiated (Lagos-Ibadan, Lagos-Kano, Lagos-Calabar)

Road projects too are not left out. (Lagos Ibadan Exp Way must be concluded)

That is what politics is all about-interests and not gragratic emotions.

What is the population of the People in Enugu? well it is not an excuse to abandon a source of revenue... I have notice our politician work with crowd... Enugu State will prefer to repair or setup something in Lagos or Abuja than in his State...find out and prove me .....

Amaechi that just became minister in 2015? Are you also aware that your senators slashed funds for projects like this one? Keep chasing shadows

do you mean it got that bad in two that GEJ had left?

Instead of at least maintaining the laudable work and legacy of Jonathan, if he cannot build on it, the profligate son has abandoned the railways.
Is this what they meant by change?
From good to bad.
From prosperity to recession.

infrastural grave yard , sometimes i feel anyone defenfing the rants that the problem of Nigeria is solvable is just big fool. Nigeria seems to have gone beyond the salvage period, the same thing is obatinable with the coal industry, tire factories etc
there is never a closed case. Things can change, it's a choice of the people. See what's happening in the steel industry, petroleum refining industry too. It's a matter of choice. This will be good investments for the Chinese. The question is, is our govt ready, are the people ready?

My ppl from the East stop acting as if ur region is the only place left out in Nigeria. If you want to know how bad Nigeria is journey from kano down to Lagos u will see how Nigeria is. How many railway stations are up to Nigeria standard leave foreign standard now. Only that of Abuja the rest get as E be so we are all together in this stop thinking and believing outside Eastern part the rest region are finding it funny.

Anything u want to term me go ahead am a Yoruba guy and proud to be Lagos, Ibadan, Osogbo even though renovated down to Kano all have abandoned equipments like that so stop painting it as if east is left out of Nigeria.

We won't say much u ppl will start talking Biafra this Biafra that u are not the only one that want a better livelihood but violence and strict agitation sometimes brings pain and sorrow e.g Sudan,Libya, Syria etc sometimes drinking garri in peace is better than taking chicken in fear. Yorubas are not Fools pls we are just conscious
point of note Biafra agitation have never been violent. Yoruba's are not fools just conscious that's cowardice. the east are not the only region left that's a lie all other region have got a new rail line except the east with abandoned 1920 delapidates railway system

Jonathan AZIKIWE saw all these but was busy pleasing Almajiris.
It's still extremely baffling how these people got their heads stuck in his rectum to the extent that an entire region voted based on their level of idiocy.

Bolu take your time o. I was discussing this with an Igbo friend that the Eastern leaders need to learn how to apply diplomacy, everything should not be gragra, as a matter of fact I told him agidi and gragra will not take you far, infact it would make diplomatic people eliminate you when they want to make some diplomatic decisions.

They need to diplomatically engage their leaders and push back emotional politics like the wanton display of ignorance in welcoming Fayose and Ibori, they can't continue to act on impulse if they want to move fast and far as a people. They need to start from the NDDC and Niger delta budget. Also from my experience with my Igbo friends, it looks like Igbos are very suspicious of fellow Igbo people, and that makes me feel the Biafra nation can become a looming disaster awaiting.

Re: Sad Images From Nigerian Railway Corporation Eastern District by juman(m): 4:16pm On Jul 19, 2017
I wonder.

Look obasanjo spent more than one billion dollars repairing train tracks across the country but could not bring back just one train in eight years.

The apc has also failed.
One nigeria is the core problem.

Made a stroll through Enugu Railway station, was shocked with level of abandoned coaches and equipment lying fallow around the stations' premises.

The things seen require the proper description of a skilled writer which unfortunately i am not.
Railway transport activities are practically at a stand still.

can something be done to reverse this story?

It takes an slowpoke to want to please the easterners with project. The couple of projects being handled are stupiidly criticised.

The only language understood by easterners was used by president Jonathan:appoint as many easterners into your high cabinet (VP, sgf, finance, cbn, nimasa,, sec, etc and leave the region To continue to deteriorate!

You will have their applause -this is why I think PMB/PYO Admin is a fool when they are attempting to show some care:get ten Igbos into powerful posts and leave the rest to suffer-you will not hear of ipob again

Some people will still blame Buhari and APC as if the neglect and abandonment started in this regime.

Why didn't the igbos impress it on their sons the likes of Chuba Okadigbo, Wabara, Ken Nnamani, Pius Anyim that occupied senate presidency to do something about it?

Soon some would come here to rant about the abandoned Nkalagu Cement industry.
