Ehrnie:
Final Status Update.

Hi e-Fam – I received my PP today with the Canadian stamp on it & all associated travel documents enclosed. It’s just beginning to sink in, lol cheesy

I know I’m expected to ‘graduate” to our senior thread on Nairaland i.e. “Living in Canada” ….so with time, I’ll gradually wean myself off this thread.

Thank God for the months gone by...and thanks to y’all for your help + contributions.

Gracias.

Congrats Ehrnie, its been a great walk for you thus far so be rest assured better days are ahead.
Pls do come back here once in a while at least until the rules/policies change.
I too suddenly find myself emotionally unprepared for the reality of this great pursuit....but I am positive that God will walk us through gentle paths unto a better tomorrow and our individual expected ends.
Cheers.

Oh wow...you took the words out of my heart sis. I really didn't prepare myself for the surge of emotions I have been experiencing since yesterday.

I say a BIG Amen to the prayers...it really means a lot to me. I wish you a great future in Canada. We will testify.

Many thanks again!

Congrats sis. glad your wait is almost over.
Was getting a bit confused when i saw you ask about accomodation in Nanaimo BC as a student. But i figured you were close to pr and would ditch the student visa in a heart beat.

So anyways just to help debunk or confirm this CIO Sydney delay theory, please state your visa office if you know it.

@Ehrnie... Congrats!!!

Don't worry! cheesy

The "Ready for Visa" email (aka PPR) will give detailed instructions on what to do next e.g. completion of the IMM8 form, Height and Eye Colour Chart, 2 passports photo in white background for each family member, a printout of the mail itself, etc

PPR next week

CIC works in mysterious ways, the fact that one is in IP2 does not guarantee that the golden mail will come within 2 weeks. One just needs to be hopeful and positive. I have friends that have been in IP2 for the past 3 weeks and no PPR yet.

The bottom line is that it will come at the appointed time, so that high bp can be avoided.

Whether hand-filled or typed, the important thing is to submit along with other documents.

From the look of things, it seems the majority of the people actually getting to the end are people who got ITA as a result of their high scores. It seems PNPs which is the only hope for people with low scores is not really working as thought. Are my right?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by jelmusboy(m): 4:01pm On Jul 29, 2017
That's a difficult one. I'm applying without the licensure, maybe if am nominated, one can process it when I get there. In fact, have completed my application form
diggy4real:

How can one get that? Or go about it? Will it stop one from being nominated even if one gets the minimum 60points for nomination?

Pls why did you say Wes is the best option for the evaluation. Are there not other ones that can be faster? Or WES increases one chances?

Hi everyone,

I have read through every comment in this thread and i have not gotten any reply that answers my burning question about migrating to Canada.

I am 23,male, a university graduate(2013) with 2+ years work history and i VERY VERY Much want to leave Nigeria for Canada. I have been trying to process a visa since i was done with my NYSC, but because of challenges like my age(then 20) or finance issues i could not successfully process a visa.
I lost my father recently(10 months ago) n was willed a reasonable amount of money(assets which i am about to sell) that kills my finance challenge and i want to use it to process my leave for Canada. My age is a barrier that is holding me back(based on what i was told by many travel agents). Now I want to take a bold step of processing a visa on my own but i still cant do it because i feel i lack enough information.

PLEASE everyone/anyone guide me through, Should i still wait till i am old enough(27-30 + i'm one of those kids that looks older than their age) according to the agents and keep struggling in this country? OR i just man-up n run the visa independently?

For questions, i hope the information i'm giving below will give clarity and tailored response:
1. I want go in to work first because i don't have enough money to process a tertiary institution but enough to fund accommodation for 6 months, feeding and clothing for a year.
(i can settle for a very low level job for a start)
2. I have worked as a finance officer for an HR firm, a CSR for a bank, currently a Business support analyst for consulting firm and a business designer (freelance)
3. I am working on getting a invitation from every friends, friends of my friends and even enemy that can help in Canada. I don't have any family that want to help(if you know what i mean).

Please i really need guidance and helpful suggestions.. i am tired of waiting.
Thanks,

Bros, bros, bros......are you sure about your opening statement? grin
Reading through your submission I can say without a doubt that all your issues have been addressed, redressed and undressed numerous times in the 700+ pages preceding this. For starters, you can use the CRS calculator to see if you are eligible. If you don't know what CRS is I will humbly suggest you cycle to page 0 of this thread....*wink wink*
