Thank You so much Toslad

I realized at a Second look that I need to have my Claim at Software Testing assessed by the ACS.
I will look as adviced at the pages and revert.

Hello daniftyone,

Your proficient grade at IELTS forced me to respond!

You will need to go to the first three pages of this thread to get a summary of what to do. I am sure if you fully digest it you will have very few questions to ask and many people will be able to help you.

A lot of people will give an arm and a tooth for that score in IELTS.

Why not submit for your state nomination first pending when you take your PTE? Maybe NSW, your invitation might just come in time. Or have u?

Bros how can you submit for state sponsorship when you don't have your outcome letter from your assessing body and you have not written any English test before.

His only advising someone to try 190 which is state sponsorship since 189 is not forth coming grin cheesy cheesy cheesy.

When you have your documents ready go back to page zero and click on skill select to apply, Also note you can only apply for state sponsorship if your point is 55 and above.

Dont forget that Insurance Agent is open for 489 Queensland and Tasmania 190 &480.

All who have submitted EOIs for state nomination, should please re-quote and state their info so we can track state progress to see how they are rolling out their ITAs, using the format:

Example

Timeline of life!!!

15/08/2016: Submitted MSA application to EA (fast track)

02/09/2016: EA outcome (Positive assessment: Professional Engineer - Chemical)

Meanwhile, used an IELTS from 3 years ago which was still valid at that time. (R:9 L:9 W:8.5 S:7)

Age: 30 points Education: 15 points Experience: 0 (Hence, 20 points needed from language test)

22/09/2016: IELTS (R: 9 L: 9 W: 7.5 S: 7.5) cry cry cry cry

04/11/2016: Moved to Aussie on 476 visa

23/12/2016: IELTS (R: 9 L: 8.5 W: 8.0 S: 8.5) cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

23/12/2016: EOI Submitted for 189 (65 points)

04/01/2017: ITA Received

04/01/2017: Application Lodged (Medicals and PCC frontloaded)

31/01/2017: First CO contact (More details about travel history) cry

01/02/2017: Responded to CO contact

06/03/2017: Second CO contact cry (Requested for Polio vaccination certificate: When I didn’t apply from naija and had not travelled there for a while)

07/03/2017: Responded to CO (Special thanks to Chief Jamson)

Didn’t hear from DIBP for weeks. Since I planned to go to naija anyways in December to get married, waiting till then would mean I would have to go through the stress of Spouse visa. I was convinced by Chief Jamson to add spouse before a decision would be made, and if possible go home to make it official asap. Field Marshal Bellong, Admiral ifexsco and General Malkinburg were very instrumental in providing support and strategies for this.

14/05/2017: Sent Form 1022 (Notification of Change in circumstance) to DIPB. Informed them that my status has changed from single to engaged, and I would love to add my spouse to the application.

15/05/2017: DIBP replied. Acknowledged receipt of my mail. Asked me to fill Form 1436 (Addition of Dependedent after Lodgment). But reiterated that I cannot add someone just on the basis of being a fiancée. We have to be married or be in defacto relationship. Was given 28 days to prove that and return the form.

After deliberating with the ogas, it was concluded that the best way was to prove defacto in the mean time, then plan to go home as soon as possible to get married.. We had not lived together which was one of the requirements of defacto, but I later realized that it’s not compulsory as long as you can give reasons why you are not living together.

06/06/2017: Replied DIBP. Sent form 1436. Uploaded relationship proofs. And other documents showing we will get married in July.

15/06/2017: DIBP requested for additional applicant payment.

16/06/2017: Payment made.

19/06/2017: DIBP sent email acknowledging payment. Spouse assessed as valid. Added on Immi account. Started uploading Spouse’s documents.

08/07/2017: Got married.

09/07/2017: Uploaded marriage certificate. Frontloaded PCC and medicals for spouse instead of waiting for CO contact.

10/08/2017: Grant for self and spouse.

IED for wife: 03/01/2018

The wait was worth it!

Special thanks to Chief Jamson (my brother), Oga Bellong, Ifexsco, Malkingburg for the enormous support and guidance. God bless you all.

Moral lessons:
Be patient
Be prayerful
Seek for help when in doubt

To those waiting, GRANT FALL on you!
Cheers!!!
