I poured it in the engine of a Nairalander, who is also a moderator in 1 section and when vehicle was due for oil change it was short by almost 3liters.

grin Kai, this is so hard to read. Chief, you are bigger than this line of argument. So it's no longer performance? grin

remember what I said, this is cartalk, not autos. what do you think happens when you stretch mobil xhp to 7500km?

point im trying to make is simple, if oil is not synthetic, it should not be stretched for so long.

when I say performance issues im sure you know the effects of oil shortage on an engiine

Let's not stretch it. You've made your point and I've made mine. Much respects for your contributions to the entire Nairaland. I doff my hat.

Cheers

Would it be safe to assume the Toyota oil that bears neither synthetic, nor semi synthetic nor mineral badge is neither synthetic nor semi synthetic but mineral? (As this could be a situation where the truth is not being told without lying)
If I'm wrong, what is it?

Bro easy na. I know that u know that is Spanish word for synthetic which means the oil was manufactured in a Spanish speaking country. But the wind is funny though. Sintetico

I utterly disagree with you on this. This is simple science. Do basic laboratory tests on both oils and give us a informed opinion.
Thanks.
Meanwhile this is certified. 5W 20, 5W 30, 5W 40. And very affordable!!!
Fully synthetic oils

If you use Mobil XHP on an engine and change every 2 months and use Mobil 1 ESP and change it every 5months you are more likely to strike a balance....

Oils not stated as 'Synthetic' or 'Synthetic blends' are clearly "Mineral" oils....

So, GAZZUZZ and LeJeun3, timifakay,

Its just a marketing strategy, right?
Re: Why Is This Oil Labelled Full Synthetic. by kingreign(m): 11:39pm On Aug 22, 2017
Even in their Site, they (marketers) only succeded in sweetmouthing uninformed buyers, scientists failed to convince engineers, auto technicians and DIY enthusiasts whether the 5W30 is synthetic, blend or mineral. This is terrible.

Mostly yes.....

Sometimes I think it's about the region. Maybe they have a large cache of these "substandard" oils, so they let us have it. Then later let us have the current "standard".

Google Mobil XHP first thing that pops up is grease grin then the one found in the us is different from the one we have here...

So, this was once a standard bt no more, in essence, if GAZZUZZ had used it in an old model vehicle, it would had still performed within range. This is assuming GAZZUZZ used it in a newer model vehicle. Can GAZZUZZ confirm this? We need to know if here is still their dumpsite

Nigeria is a dump site for almost any product. If you have the time buy any can of refrigerant with a SON stamp, weigh it on a scale and check gross weight on can. they will never tally, we are always short-changed.

You shouldn't have gone into the tales of refrigerant. Have got a whole story book to write about the Nigerian refrigerant.e.g some becomes bubble like when discharging

Lol. It's 2017, i had thought it gets better bt no, am wrong. It's same situation with food products too ( substandard ).

GAZZUZZ, Mayor2013, timifakay, LeJeun3... This engine oil is what it is and we should use alternative. GAZZUZZ, u did not respond to the oda question about it being used in a newer vehicle model or not
