Hi all..pm me let me recommend a good eye clinic for u...am so lucky I got my eye checked and I can see clearly now

frm ur xplanation, i ll suspect u hving cataract associated wit an increase in intraocular pressure..cnt b certain until u go for an eye exam,....u may b lucky enough nd have some improvement in vision or save d remaining vision in dt eye....do not delay in health matters especially ur eye health...

drugs cannot cure refractive errors nd myopia is one of such ....ur glasses doesnt actually mk ur vision worse..it's just dt u re now used to seeing better(tnks to d glasses) hence wen u take off ur glasses, evritin now seems odd (u re now aware or d great difference btw d clarity in vision u nw enjoy wit glasses nd d way u used to see without glasses)....but it doesnt worsen ur vision ....most spectacle wearers actually complain abt dis....u cn actually try contact lenses or sm special glass type dt wld nt mk d lens thickness obvious

just take ur child to an eye clinic or hospital having an orthoptist . sometimes a baby could be having epicanthus and it makes it appear as though d eye is deviated wen actually it isnt. An orthoptist would be in a better position to counsel u after examination.

Goodafternoon doc, I get dz scratching bt painful irritation in my both my eye(sand like) occasionally it takes awhile bt stops on tz own.

Hallo doc you are really doing a good job here. Please i've been experiencing burning, redness,and itching of the eyes. I visited the opth and i was told i have allergic conjuctivities. The opth prescribed sodium chromoglycate eyedrop. However, no matter how many times i applied the eyedrop, some minutes later, my eyes turns red again. Please what should I do? Thanks

hw long hv u been using d eyedrop? just giv it some time and avoid exposure to tinx dt could cause irritation to d eyes aswell.... i usually give a short course steroidal ointment ( where there re no contraindications ) as an adjunct to an antihistamine eye drop in treating allergy. i ll advise you give it sometime and if no improvement, u cld go bk to ur doctor....dry eyes could also present wit similar symptoms aswell.

I am 22 sir. I do get peppery sensation bt nt a constant basis. Dryness of d eye? I don't have that. I will also mention, I don't see far letters. And least I forget my eyes get teary most times wn m using my fone

I used the eyedrop for over 3 months after which I returned to see the opth. He prescribed anterllage and chloraphenicol but was only effective for a short time. The redness is really embarrassing, even with the glasses i wear,because I'm shortsighted, i still feel embarrassed.

it can b corrected wit glasses but it can't be cured #if dts wht u intended askin

Can you please recommend a good ophthalmologist in Ibadan? My dad has diabetes and has developed cataracts but the ophthalmologist he has been seeing keeps telling him to wait till it gets ripe but his vision keeps getting worse. I think a second opinion is needed because he can barely see with his left eye now.
