the person above me is a mumu somebody, if truly that your bet pays, you for dey follow the likes of mayweather dey party upandan. oloshi.

I did mine last year and they only gave me one mumu paper like that, no card till further notice... that further notice fit be during Armageddon :/

The only person that did his last 4years and was given within two months is pmb when he won the election in 2015.

that pre enrollment is just to fill up the form then print it out and go to the
nearest local government for the final registration ...be aware dont go to any cafe for registration

Its working, I did it myself on the portal last week Friday and I went to gtbank ilaje ajah with the printed slip and did my capture. It didn't take time, I was given a slip to come back in 6 weeks time to collect the temporary card

I did mine in 2015 and got it 6 months after it expires in 2020.

The process was not smooth then as well it was all over the place . Scanners and cables all over the floor in the office in Lekki next to A Mercedes Benz dealer showroom

Why is it that anything associated with most govt agencies is associated with delays? After more than 3yrs (still counting), my card is not ready? What is really happening? Are they experiencing difficulties, they should let the world know....

hav been having misgovernment Ng about doing mine,

the LSRC I did last year , am yet to collect the PRC,

mind you going for the national isn't on my mine cos of the problems and scan here and there,


but this GTBANK how do you go about it, is it new or its jst started in some of their branches??

I did mine two weeks ago from home. Your challenge might be a browser or network related issue. Try using another browser or visit a cyber cafe to see if the issue persists .

Good day Nairalanders,

I have been trying to do my National ID Card Pre-enrolment on NIMC portal [https://penrol.nimc.gov.ng ] for over 2 months now without any success. I was able to register an account on the portal [even though I did not receive any email notification - which was BAD] and I was able to login.

However, for about 2 months now I have not been able to go beyond the 'START PRE-ENROLMENT' stage as the link isn't clickable. See attached image.




Now, I have the following questions;

1. Does it mean the only way one can do the PRE-ENROLMENT is by patronising the road side NIMC vendors who charge N300? Why can't I just start the PRE-ENROLMENT process in the comfort of my home/office and then go to the Enrolment centre with my PRE-ENROLMENT details?

2. Does it mean the road side vendors are accessing the NIMC PRE-ENROLMENT Portal via a special link.


I need your urgent contribution please.

They keep threatening about penalties whereas those that registered for three years now and have been issued temporary slips still haven't got their permanent ID cards.
They issue Governors and those in authority immediately they capture them just to deceive the public.
Useless scheme!

Stupid NIMC or whatever they call themselves. I registered since 2014 in umuahia all I could get is one piece of paper they call temporary I'd. Very useless set of people .

If you enrol now, u go old before your card go ready. If you lucky you'll get yours before 2025 sha, maybe 2024. Since 2014, my own never ready like say na airport I say make dem build.

Once You Are Done With The Pre-enrolment, Print The Batch Code And Take It To Any Nearest Nimc Office Or Branch To Enrol You In Their Database.

I have collected mine since March 2016. Go to there office and confirm if your card is ready.

I did mine yesterday in Ijaiye Ojokoro LGDA, I went with the pre enrolment slip but it wasn't a part of the requirements. The only thing requested was "a valid means of identification and one's bvn".

I did mine in 2015. I was given worthless paper slip 2017. Am still waiting for the card. I really don't want to vent this afternoon but what a country ! Wait a minute, let me even check now if it is ready -I doubt it will be ! grin

lalasticlala, we need more contribution on this thread....over to you!
You can't do it yourself cos they believe you won't have all the required material for the registration also because some people may supply wrong info, use fake ID, use a wrong fingerprint as well as picture during registration. To avoid all these, you need to go to a nearby enrollment center where it will be done for you. Thanks
