While there is no paper requirement for the LOR, I guess the institution/firm letter headed paper will be a worthy option. If it has to be submitted via email, it is greatly advised that the LOR be submitted using the institution/firm email address (e.g xx@yy.edu or yy@zz.org)

Thank you for your response Morgan. I have contacted 3 of my former lecturers. Two said they would do a LOR with my school's letter head paper. The 3rd said he doesn't have it atm. Thus my question

[The first interview :
Vo: which university are you planning attend?

Me: told him the name of the school (California Miramar)

Vo: how many schools did you apply to?

Me: two and I mentioned the name of the school.

Vo: how did you hear about the school:

Me: I have an acquaintance studying in the school.

Vo: do you have a previous graduate degree

Me: yes, MBA Marketing from a Nigerian university

Vo: why another MBA?

Me: my previous study has been in marketing but since I've worked all my life in the financial sector an MBA in Finance will aid my career growth and aspirations

Vo: how will you fund your education

Me: savings from my job and business that I do by the side

Vo: are you married?

Me: yes with kids

Vo: how will you take care of your family

Me: my wife works

Vo: I'm sorry you're not qualified for the visa at this time.

The second interview lasted less than two minutes.

I must however confession that the salary I indicated on DS-160 was far less that what I earn. I only indicated the monthly take home, I did not indicate my upfront, allowances and bonuses.

I am in the process of getting admission into another university, this time a public university.

Your advice

Hey guys I need your help with something. I'm preparing for my visa interview towards the spring semester but I have somethings to contend with. I might find it a little difficult to resume in January due to some reasons. I know it's possible to differ from Fall semester to Spring semester but I want to know if it's possible to do the same from Spring to Fall semester. And if I'm given a student visa next month, will I still be able to use it for the fall semester I'm differing to or I'll need another visa interview.

That's what you should be doing. No one can do it for you. The time you spend here hailing people and responding to posts would be better spent figuring out what you want to do to further your education - what school, degree, cost of study, how good the school and program is - and feasibility of parlaying that into a well-paying job here that gives you the chance to stay here permanently.

Rather you're busy asking others to go do the search for you... well, you don't seem to be in a hurry.

Studies would be very rigorous when you start, so how do you want to combine this with babysitting 3 kids? I've people with 1 kid but not 3. Think about it. Do you have anyone relative in US?

These are grown ups.... which will make it a bit harder. These guys are better off staying with their daddy or grannies while you go to study. Well, the youngest and you must have a cogent reason for bringing him/her along. Don't forget the VOs have seen and heard all kind of excuses. So stay truthful.

Being truthful....like I just want to carry her along...?
And I learnt they value families, is it better to apply with her or alone.
Just want to get your opinion.
Tnx

They value families?...... may be that's for visiting visa category, I'm not sure. By being truthful I mean the actual reason (a touching one cheesy) you think the kid can't stay with a close relative while you're gone for 2 years. Again, studies in US is rigorous, so coming alone would be much appreciated than with a family member. This is not a visiting visa.

Yes. That's the correct way of having your family with you as a student. They will apply as F2.

Your children are about the age when they have to go to school, which means you'll be using public schools which neither you nor your spouse are paying into. Any person with a brain knows this is simply an immigration scheme.

Applying for a US visa is designed to not require the services of charlatans such as these. Consult them at your own peril.

Hehe...especially if you are applying as a student who can read and write; handing off your application to some "omnipotent" agent can only get you in trouble.

Take the 13. By right, he/she can go to school and return on his/her own without supervision. If you are hell bent on taking one of them. The public school system is free and they get on the bus as well free.

Initially, I tried to carry family with me all at the same time but later decided otherwise. I am grateful I did. Studies in the US can be rigorous.

Careful. If you plan to defer from Spring to Fall, then your I-20 needs to be updated by your school to show your are coming by fall '18. Otherwise, your time of entry which is stated on your I-20 would have expired and you will begin to have issues with Customs and Border Protection.
