Biafra, Nnamdi kanu, IPOb giving Nigeria sleeplessness nights even more than bokoharam.

Other regions like Yorubas if not for political miscalculations should have keyed into this struggle, if not for anything this struggle have laid bare the many injustices perpetrated by the northern oligarchs.

This struggle might not come to fruition, but would be a ground to re_negotiate terms and conditions of still being a sovereign state
lol See who is talking about political miscalculation grin when the ibo man can't become president or vice in the next 15 years. the joke is on you bro cheesy

Of course, its not yet ripe enough for people of her calibre to reveal their true identity. We shall come to that. Chimamanda was mentored and inspired by Chinua Achebe who wrote There Was a Country on his dying bed-there he revealed where his heart has been all these years. That book actually reignited the call for Biafra. Chimamanda wrote half of a yellow sun-another Biafra inspired book. She doesnt need to tell you where she belongs in words before you get it except you are a fool. Action speaks louder than voice

Lol. Association by force. Leave the woman alone. She knows how to identify herself.

Perpetually, time and again the south west have always dined with the northern backstabbers. Abiola of blessed memory was incarcerated and died of questionable circumstances from the same devils yiu guys have choosen to dine with.

Buhari would never resign, not because he doesn't want to, but to ensure power never go to the south, to your brother.

The same injustices being faced by the Ibos are still experienced by the southwest, buh since your brain is to warped to comprehend, I would explain to you small.

When crisis erupt in Kaduna and kano, do you think it is only Ibos that are killed, hell no, even though Ibo are the bigger casualties, buh a large number of Yorubas are killed also, not just Christians but yoruba Muslims also, the same people they worship together with in mosques. Go make enquiries.

Or do you think they allow yoruba Muslims to call prayers for them in their mosques, if a yoruba Muslim must call for prayers, then you must go set your own mosque. That's why predominantly Yorubas pray separately in a different mosque.

Enough of the religious card, let's look at the economic side

Zamfara, sokoto, kano etc have launched the Sharia strict observance which have always killed tourism in their State, which at the same time they wouldn't bother since they recieve monthly pay from the govt. They are the main people who would fight u from true federalism because they don't bring anything to the table. Mind you agriculture is theirs and the government doesn't take it away from them

Who told you she was mentored by Achebe? Must you exaggerate in order to make a point? She only met the man thrice, in her entire life for goodness sake! His works may have inspired her, but mentoring? shocked What form exactly did the so-called mentoring, take?

Better to say that Achebe inspired Adichie. The same house Achebe lived while with UNN was exactly where Adichie grew up with her parents. Adichie can't rule out Achebe's impact on her career.

So are you saying she's a coward? Only cowards do say one thing and do another. If you people can call Ojukwu a coward, I won't be surprise. If not for ojukwu we won't be talking of biafra today. Great books like "there was a country" and "half of a yellow sun" will not come alive.

I have a feeling that this biafran talk is loosing it's ground. Whether you admit or not, it's a blow to camp biafra for someone of her caliber to publicly say that.

Do you know what position it will put her if biafra fails to happen?

Writing half of a yellow sun doesn't call for biafra. There are other learning from it.

Seems your brain is on permanent hibernation. Why should a learned individual associate him/herself or take credit for statements made by someone else with their names attached to it? Whether she's in support of the movement or not, that's inconsequential to her distancing herself from a statement credited to her which she never made. There's no trace of logic, even d minutest of it in ur statement undecided undecided undecided

really? ibos and double standardgrin you crybabies didn't call for chime's resignation when he was on medical leave for almost 6months. like I said earlier the joke is on you. as a Yoruba man I don't give a Bleep how the north decides to use their sharia cos it can never work in the southwest.

whether the north likes it or not the outcome of this kanu versus north will favour the southwest which ever way. the easiest way to reduce kanu's influence now is to restructure the country or risk a total break down of law and order in the south east when ipob eventually becomes violent. Yoruba stands to gain more from restructuring.

we are not fools. we need your tax to develop the southwest

Key into what?

You want someone to key into your struggles then you start by heaping insult and death threat on them. Is that your definition of an invite?

Y'all started on a wrong footing. It should never have been a regional struggle with ethnic undertone.
It should have been a struggle to liberate nigeria and that would have produced an Nnamdi kanu from each geopolitical zone. Imagine Buhari facing six of NK like asking for thesame thing -restructuring and resource control

Good cause, wrong tactic. We told you but you always reply with insults (won't be surprised if you do exactly that right now)

Everyone knows the injustice in this country but imagine the chaos if every tribe were to start what NK is doing today.

Chimamanda and several other people of influence would like to support NK but would not want to endorse him for his many foolish words spoken against other tribes. Endorsing him will tarnish her image.

Go and read Half of a Yellow Sun and you would see that Adichie tried as much as possible to give a balanced account. She hinted about injustice even in the new country of Biafra (Biafran senior officials living fine while millions suffered and died, Biafran soldiers raping a defenceless girl, Biafran soldiers harassing Biafran civilians). Her book is more superior and more neutral than any of Achebe's accounts of the war.

I do not argue blindly, I come to the table with my brains. Would you throw away a baby with the dirty bathing water ? I do not subscribe to Nnamdi kanu nor his Biafran ideologies, buh I sympathize with them, in this part of the world, we only respond or take threats and violence serious.

Bokoharam was taken serious when they added a violent undertone to it.

The northern groups were lobbied and pressured to drop their quit notice threat, why? Because the north have a perchance for violence, even if the groups do not mean violence, same cannot be said of the almajiris on the street that only hear go and not come, buh do you know some Niger Delta groups also gave quit notice , no body took them serious because they knew they were jokers

Do you know that the Niger Delta struggle started a long time ago during the times of Ken sharp wiwa and co, buh they preached tolerance and followed a non violent approach, they were jailed, tried unjustly and killed by the nigerian government, but when groups in the region woked up and practised violence, kidnapped, killed, the government had to change their stance and renegotiated with them abi don't you know that if Bokoharam wakes up today and say they would stop violence and come to the table, that Nigeria would not be glad to pay them off so that the atrocities would stopQwe

This is quite unsolicited and unwarranted.

Yoruba people are more enlightened and have a better understanding of how Nigeria works...

You must not drag them in your futile journey you shameless unity begging kid.

You chose to always cry foul from the day Nigeria was granted independence and that contributed immensely to your stunted growth and your less incorporation in the Nigerian project....

Yorubas are too wise to follow your footsteps as they intermarry with the Northerners.....

Your call for a South-wide hatred against the North has fallen on a deaf ear, pursue your fruitless dream alone.
