baggiosne:I have never spent 5minutes on 9e anytime any day.the trick is this ,track startime when u hit green input 11804v 27500 for AFN, stand at the front of ur dish turn ur LNB to 7.00k star time will be red then hunt for 9e .it will surely come.Note my dish is 2.4m AFN is currently@ 77% on my 4922a decoder |

sunene1:@Sunene1, have you ever track 9e with 90cm or 1m dish, cos the procedure you explained now is not clear to me, I tracked startimes, then put 11.804 v 27.500, turn my lnbf to 7 0clock, bring the elavation a bit down, when I scanned the TPs that are on H will be turn green on V, while the one on V will turn green on H, no matter how I turn the lnbf I will still get startimes channels, try 9, 6, 7, 8, 10 lnbf skew, still startimes channels pops up when I scanned, I used dstv white dish with strong short neck lnbf. |

graphicicon:Bro,when u are tracking a satellite that is fringe in nature like 9e a lot of factor come to play.1.positioning of ur dish 2.conditions of ur dish 3.the focal length accuracy 3.pole plumming.etc.9e is very trickish u must take into consideration the above factors and follow the step I sent earlier u will surely get it.The other time somebody said it is not easy or hard to get 9e on 1.8m but me I use to get it easily both on prime focus and off set dishes. My major worries now is how I can bring down hotbird 13e target point ircama3 on my 2.4m .location Abuja-Nigeria. |

sunene1: Hmmm,I never knew this "Stargold Fuji LNB" is this expensive.Anyway I have acquired one,on my journey to Hotbird 13e,bustop is IRCAM 3,with my 2.4m pan dish.Nothing will be too expensive to bring down this bird. The journey will start this evening, and the house will be fed adequately. Enjoy |

@All,Gd morning. Can anyone direct me to the exact thread on this forum where one guru, was constructing with pictures of " A KU-BAND LNB TO BE PLACED INSIDE A C-BAND LNB" so as to be used to nail close birds,eg nailing Intelsat 68e(both c- band & Ku band together), or nailing Eutelsat 10e c-band & eutelsat 9e ku- band, using a singular constructed COMBINED KU/C BAND LNB.I need to construct one ASAP.Thanks Enjoy |

sunene1: Kano,#8000 for twin output pin.Unlike other cheap lnb in the market,I believe the price will be worth it after tracking,as it has even be proven to bring down Fringe reception etc.Enjoy |

Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by life707: 8:38am On Sep 07, 2017 |
More skills needed.... With big dish 2.4M anywhere in naija should bring down 9e. Rub minds and skills with a nearby installer to see where u are getting it wrong. U may need to just hands off and watch a different installer try so u can identify ur error. I will suggests u perform the "restricted tracking" protocol...as follows Track 5e Ku and mark the point on the ground (I just place a small stone) , then Track 7e ku, and also mark the point. Then change ur lnb to C band, then Track 10e Cband and again mark it. U will Observe the distance between 5e and 7e is lesser than the distance between 7e Ku and 10e Cband 9e will be restricted to the interval between 7e and 10e Cband and closer to the 10 e Cband. Lastly change ur lnb back to Ku and nail 9e.... NB: be patient! Cheers 1 Like |
