rheether: English Premier League.. We know of five top clubs (I DID NOT INCLUDE ARSENAL BIKO) But here in Nigeria.. The 'inconsistency' I'm referring to is in terms of Funding and proper Management This goes a long way to affect the overall performance of the club in the long run I'm a Rangers FC fan The club was solidly supported by the State Government last season and they performed brilliantly But this season, the reverse was the case |

How much does the league make in revenues?...how much does it cost us to watch a match live as compared to the European league? We should think about this before declaring 50m a paltry sum....it may very well be. 1 Like |

To start with, going by the level of sponsorships pumped into football in Nigeria, coupled with the level of development in the country, i think, the payment is manageable to take. However, if one man could get #25million in just an entertainment prog, then the money is not that much- we should not forget that football is also an entertainment meant to thrill people. Also, there are lots of risk attached to the game which are ‘scaring‘ or probably leads to death or perhaps life injury compared to some other entertainment show. I think these justify the reasons for good sponsorships into the game. |
