If skills or knowledge wasn't needed uber wouldn't be holding training and retraining sessions.
There's more to it than the way you put it if you want to be effective and hir the high figures weekly

Dude don't confuse experience with skills. The fact that some drivers know how to position themselves or play the system has nothing to do with skills, also, just because some drivers here display delusions of grandeur does not make them skillful. The only skill required here is the ability to drive a car. Writing someone off because they are a new driver displays poor judgement. Am a partner with four drivers and the ones that started new were the best performers.

If you people have idea on how more money can be made in this work, share it here let all of us see it. You'd be surprised at how all our individual contributions will make all of us better. The highest earning driver on taxify made 620k after commissions in September alone.

90% of Uber training is all about professionalism,10% is about app operation.

Making money is about how many hours you spend online. The more you are online the more you are likely going to jam surge.

You see whenever Romeo3 & ogunvic41 make money they flaunt it, whenever they are average they keep quiet.

The way ogunvic is acting is like it's a serious matter that you need more personal training to make money out of it. While will he come here and claim new drivers can't deliver?

Few months back, I was a new driver, and made money for myself without any ebook or counseling.

I will say it again on that damn app and hit the road, and riders will connect u.
NO HATING BRO ONE LOVE. CHEERS

You can dislike or have issues with Romeo because of his rude tones but ogunvic? This guy is an angel. Very diplomatic.

How can you hate on someone that takes out his time and money to teach people his strategy of making money free of charge and someone is on this thread selling his own ideas for 2500 per copy.

How many people do you see teaching anyone that cares to know his unique way of making money? I honestly wouldn't, because I would feel the market would get saturated by people with similar strategy.

When he talked about his Peugeot as well, he didn't force anyone to buy it. Same way my dad has been preaching volvo to me for months but he still supports me whenever I buy a Toyota brand instead. I will give his Peugeot a trial soon.

We all have pride but If by helping people free of charge is how ogunvic feed his pride/ego, then there is nothing negative about him.

Well, I hope these hating gets to him and he stops sharing all his motivational earnings so we can have less people willing to join the business. Till I at least break even on all my cars grin cheesy grin
Yes, I'm selfish like that.

if u are a new driver here, I will advise that u get an experienced uber-taxify driver to put u tru before u start at all. Especially wen u are on rental agreement. My first week wasn't good at all as I didn't make up to 40k that I was supposed to deliver. Second week was better as I made 43k which left me with 3k after weekly remmitance. The reason for those low earning was as a result of inexperience in the business. I was frustrated because after a month, I couldn't boast of 30k in my pocket. At the end, I returned that car and re-strategised. Sold my very sound honda baby boy that wasn't qualified for Uber to get an almost dead Nigerian used 2009 Nissan. Then I consulted a fleet manager who introduced me to one of his Uber drivers. I got back on the road wiser and stronger and I was enjoying myself. All these happened when Uber hasn't reduced their fare. I dropped someone at gbagada, so a guy quickly ran up to me to ask if I am an Uber driver, I told him yes, so he asked if u could give him a little tip as he's about to start as a new driver in a weeks time. He got my number and I kept calling him to explain some scenarios to him. After 2 weeks, he called me to complain to me that it is not easy o. That he would have been in debt if not for my advice. When I called Ogunvic also, I discovered that I was also a learner and when I put his advice to use, I've seen much difference in my earnings now. And concerning the way they post their earnings here, it is really helping a lot of us. Now I've learnt another thing from Ogunvic's post today again. I will start using it now grin. I've lost hope in this business before but Ogunvic has encouraged me. Just focus on the positive side of any post you see here and ignore the negative side. Hating each other won't add anything to us;especially when we don't even know ourselves.

God bless you

I have never written new drivers off, I always advocate for them.
My first week I made 57k if I knew what I know now when I first started I'd have made double.
That these men are giving newbies advice on how to increase their earnings is an awesome move and they deserve to be commended The man even uses his own money to call and give advice.

How many people can do that?

Nobody is judging new drivers on Uber or taxify platform, the initial argument was you need to be able to handle a car properly to drive passengers for many hours around Lagos crazy traffic.

Knowing how to drive a car is different from learning Uber skills to earn higher, except I'm missing something.

10-14hrs daily driving is not the same as your usual commute of 1-2hrs daily. If you don't know how to drive very good then you are going to get lower ratings and eventually kicked out of Uber and taxify.

To whom it may concern:

There is something quite self distinctive and defining from the use of WORDS, with its appropriate decorum.
If SOMEONE continues being OBSCENE under repeated observation and caution, the WORDS tells you whether he/she came out of A HOME or A HOLE, exhibiting his/her antecedents and traits of lessons imbibed, from same.

Usually, you don't need to ask, which it is!!

Lol ẹ say if you don't knkw how to drive very good.
Good driving skills is important, but getting your earnings up requires additional information oga.
If it wasn't sio why is someone selling his uber knowledge of 2500 and why are people paying to buy it?
You need to know areas where you'll get the best trips and areas to avoid also.,what to watch out to avoid Fraudulent riders. All these things you can learn on your own, but it takes time. It's on this forum I learnt to avoid trips going to pelican and grand tulip hotels at certain hours of the day, on uber its not a big deal cos uber will always pay but on taxify it is. Being a good driver is crucial but additional information also helps a lot and it can save you precious mam hours which you can use to earn more. Uber that shows videos and tips from 5 star drivers they don't know what they are doing?

LOL, i wonder the same but you will be amazed at the number. The guy appears to me as an opportunist.

Can't blame him really, blame the partners paying for such book from a fellow driver/partner despite all the free self-learning resources available through uber/taxify induction/on-boarding, training & re-training, you tube videos, Nairaland threads like this one and even coaching/mentoring sessions.

Some people are always out to take advantage of others' naivety.

Shout out to all the those that freely share tips and notes here to help others.
