Ogun State Should Please Help Us Absorb Igbos. by Nobody: 9:46am On Nov 04, 2017
Following the renewed vigor of the igbos to migrate to the SW, I suggest that Ogun State (my own state) provides land and reviews its tax laws(opportunity for tax lawyers in my dear state) to accommodate our igbo brothers who have vowed to empty their cities in search of greener pastures in yorubaland. For us in Ogun State and yorubaland in general, we are ready for the influx of our igbo brothers as long as they are law abiding and pay their taxes regularly. This way, Ogun State and our igbo brothers would benefit from the conducive ambience for business and the tax revenue that the state stands to gain.

Since our igbo brothers want to emigrate to our lands by force, we are ready to absorb them.

Ogun State is ready for business!

We have plenty of lands for sale in Ogun State for our igbo migrants. Keep in mind that our tax laws are current and up to date with modern times. The people of Ogun State await the enterprising and industrious igbo tribe to come in and develop our space. Help us relay this information to your kith and kin this December at the umunna meeting. But we should be ashamed of ourselves that we have allowed Igbos to turn us to tenants and gatemen on our own land. Now, who is loosing ?

There are some things we don't brag with.

Lesson, life is a personal race. Whether all Igbos migrate to Yoruba land or not, it won't have any impact on our personal life
Again, ibos are scattered all over the world, not only in Yoruba land, and anywhere you didn't see an ibo man, take your hills because that place is not habitable.

Ogun State needs that tax millions as the New Jersey of Nigeria! The people of Ogun State must gain from the migratory trends of the igbos! The New York - New Jersey model must work in Nigeria! Igbos think hausas fear Yorubas for nothing. We have warned you igbos but you don’t want to heed the advice. Just keep emigrating to yorubaland.

It's already happening. grin

Ojodu Berger all the way to Sagamu interchange is fast becoming a metropolis.

Ogijo, Simawa, Ota, Agbara, Ifo, Akute, Lambe, Matogun etc etc are parts of Lagos city.

You got this from me in the other thread right grin

Well, not really. I just think it is time for my dear state to gain from the tax billions our igbo brothers have to offer. I think it is time for a thread where all omoluabi would assess and critically evaluate the legal framework regulating taxation in Ogun State. I would appreciate if we can have lawyers who live and practice in Ogun State participating in the proposed thread to help the State Assembly re-jig the existing tax laws in the state for the benefit of the good people of the state.

Cc: all omoluabis are invited to the theead(NB: anybody can create the thread) There is a need to discuss.

Igbos are all over Nigeria, I was in Kano and was stunned by the number of Igbos there. Go to Maidugri, Benue, Kogi, even in farthest Northern state you can imagine Igbos are there.

It is tiring the way you folks think they are only moving to Yoruba land, but I'm not surprised cos you guys don't travel, I could bet you haven't stepped your feet out of Yoruba land since birth hence your high level of ignorance.

Again let me clear this lie you guys spread. That People are moving out doesn't mean Igbo land is scanty and undeveloped like you folks say, as a matter of fact the population density of The East is the highest in the country, Eastern cities are also filled with people from different places. Go to Onitsha main market and see your brothers pushing trucks, hawking local medicines and doing menial jobs. In terms of beauty, no western city apart from Lagos is as beautiful with good road networks like Enugu.

I'm tired of this falsehood you guys spread here as a result of ignorance and feel someone needs to school you all.

Ok, good for you. Your igbo brothers in Nigeria must develop Ogun State as that is the new frontier for tax administration in Nigeria.

Don’t get all worked up. Your igbo brothers have boasted of buying up our lands and ruling us. We are only helping them to achieve their dreams. Ogun State is the new frontier for development. This thread is like an investment drive for the good people of Ogun State. The igbo developers/investors are being invited to snap up prime land for development. The interest and well beig of the good people of Ogun State and yorubaland in general is my main concern.

It is already in place, my dear.

Ogun IGR is next to Lagos and keeps rising.

Also, Ogun is the most industrialised state in Nigeria.

We need to do a thread on the tax laws of the state as soon as possible. Help me propagate this gospel to all omoluabis. The extenuating circumstances has made it imperative that a discussion be held to help the good people of Ogun State to reap from this bounty.

Tell them my brother. I have told them that Enugu destroys Abuja and Lagos in terms of functionality and organization as a city. They don't travel and so, don't know.
