Please guys, can I request my PCC from the UK as I did my MSc there? However, I am wondering if there is a validity period, provided I did not visit the UK after requesting it. Please advice. I have read some where that provided someone does not visit the country after the request was made, it still remains valid. Now I read here again that PCC is valid for 6 months. Please lets be clear and specific about our questions and answer to avoid doubts. Thanks in advance for responses. |

Good day guys ; Pls some one shd help me look into this and advise on the possibility . Is it possible to create an express entry profile as a married person with the option that my spouse will not be coming to canada an later inform CIC via CSE that he intends to be added to the application and come with me to canada after i must have gotten ITA and submitted AOR. This is because my spouses IELTs result was not eligible due to a 5.5 in reading and there isnt time to write anoda IELTs till january and by then i wud have lost 5 points as my birthday is coming up in december. Please those with experience shd assist. |

Kontagious: Merci @Kontagious... Beautiful thing you and I and alot of people here know the bolded above...that you don't need to have a financial degree to write and qualify for ICAN and also people make career switches...but the question is: Will the Oyinbo VO understand it they way we do here?... Their system is different...maybe they can relate with the career switch argument but how do we explain that you are working with a professional certification different from.your 1st degree in a totally different field from day1 after graduation? That's why I want to ask you will it be still "oversabi" to include the ICAN certificate (though earlier uploaded to them), ICAN transcript along with the philosophy certificate & transcript with a Letter of Explanation (in XX01 words) in "short and precise" words. Why all this? The reason being I fear to give the VO an opportunity to slam NOC/Education mismatch on my application under the guise of a flimsy reason as this. He will be quick to forget that I have an MBA and ICAN if I submit Philosophy certificate and transcript to him and firstly he goes straight to view my NOC and says this doesn't jive. (These Oyinbos can be unpredictable and funny at times) All the same, I'll go with the general consensus. This is my e-family...family watches out for family 1 Like |

It comes across as a misrepresentation. That's like trying to trick the CIC, it incurs a 5 years ban ohh!! You tell CIC that he is not coming with you to Canada, and you receive ITA, apply and get AOR and then raise CSE that he is coming with you. If you guys were not married or married after AOR, it would not have been a misrepresentation. mecuryf: 3 Likes |

Dave4eva: If you have lived in a country in the past, your PCC issued after leaving is valid until you decide to re-visit that country. However, if you are still living in the country or you got a PCC before you left the country, then you need a PCC issued within the last 6 months. I think that explains it. 1 Like |

Hello guys, Please I do want to know if there is a general format for the reference letter or is it specifically worded for each applicant? This is so that one can get it at hand before the stage that one needs it. Thank you guys. |

Use Canada tool. Your spouse's ielts is OK. He is a dependent, so he can have functional bands so long as u guys' CRS score doesn't drift further away from the trending threshold to receive ITA. When I say pple should be allowed to do certain things on their own, our people will be jumping up to do others' job. mecuryf: 1 Like |

justwise: Let me first of all say God bless you @Justwise True, what I created previously was not a general PNP thread but a specific thread in relation to a particular provincial Nominee Program but I was forced to do that out of frustration of not getting get pointed answers to enquiries on PNP related matters from people interested and on the same journey stage as myself..PNPers.. Most people here are either on FSW direct ITA or post-ITA stages of the Express Entry process...PNP guys will still join this grouping later but we need to sort specific issues out first on the different provincial nominee requirements which are different from federal skilled workers programs (the majority of the people here are on) The info one gets on PNP here are scattered abroad the hundreds of pages and far apart (how do we even start the research? ). But for family love of some to stop by ones enquiry and drop a line or two, many pass by your posts and reply to posts that they can relate with (and I don't blame anybody anyways, it's a privilege to receive a "hi" ). Now that we have finally received an approval to create our own PNP thread, I hope that most people will graduate from the PNP thread into this one for the continuation of their PR final journey. @Justwise, on behalf of all those that have agitated for the creation of the PNP thread for quite a while, I want to say a big thank you to you. Best regards. 13 Likes |

Hey Guys, Congrats to those who have just received ITA. Below is an excerpt from CICnewdotcom regarding the restructuring of Manitoba PNP. One of the key changes is the introduction of a new in-demand occupations list that will be used to prioritize Expressions of Interest (EOI) for inviting applications from the new Skilled Worker Overseas stream. That stream will now be subdivided into two pathways — the Manitoba Express Entry Pathway and the Human Capital Pathway. The Express Entry Pathway, which is due to come into effect in January 2018, will allow Manitoba to nominate qualified applicants who meet the criteria for Canada’s Express Entry system and have an active Express Entry profile. Among other criteria, priority will be given to candidates who have a minimum of six-months experience in an in-demand occupation as well as a close friend or relative in Manitoba or a valid Invitation to Apply issued by the MPNP. The Human Capital Pathway is for international skilled worker applicants with skills and training covered by the In-demand Occupations list, and who demonstrate a high potential for establishing themselves in their chosen occupations sooner after arrival in Manitoba. Family connections or previous post-secondary or work experience in Manitoba in the last five years are required to qualify for this stream, among other criteria. My question is, does it mean one can apply to Manitoba if you have a minimum of 6 months experience in an in-demand occupation if you don't have a family/friend in the province? Thanks in advance for the clarity. I also support the motion of creating another thread for PNP peeps. God bless our hustle!!! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Bros, this is mental torture. Evaluate ur MBA only if u haven't. Get reference letter from ur workplace. Nominate the NOC that agrees with ur duties. Add the philosophy and ICAN stuff and check they weren't evaluated. Nna eh TEECANN: |

Mire222: Sorry to sound like a party popper but are you sure this is not LVO’s normal ADR for copies of your passport, height and eye colour? Did the title of the mail say “Ready for Visa”? If not, I don’t think this is your PPR. Me thinks this is your pre-PPR ADR which is peculiar to London VO. |

I really think you are worrying yourself for nothing. This is not Australian PR program. I have not read of anyone who had problems in this our Canada FSW EE because he/she practices a different profession from field of study (if there is, I haven't seen). I studied Production Eng, I have an MBA, I have worked in a bank all my career, currently in Risk Management. I am not even going to think twice before submitting my B.Tech results post-ITA. I wont even wait for ADR. You are just stressing yourself for something that is not important. Just chill and submit what was asked of you. PS: The oyinbos understand quite a lot about our system. No be your case go be 1st. TEECANN: 3 Likes |

justwise:Hmmmm, uncle Justwise, I remember clearly that someone created a thread for PNP about a month ago, I'm very sure the topic clearly stated so and a lot of us were already following keenly till you came to shut it down saying we should all come here, we even came here to try to mention you and talk you into reopening it but you declined so some ppl resorted to joining whatsapp groups for the same purpose. In all, I still think we need that thread for reasons previously stated.

Bsbabe: Congratulations @Mire22. Bsbabe is right. It is ADR. I got the same mail yesterday and I am also PNP. You need to login to your CIC account, click on view submitted application. You will find placeholders to upload the requested documents. I understand it is LVO's pre ppr request. So congratulations are in order. |
