Hey guys please within Turkish airline and virgin Atlantic which is preferable also I'm traveling with my toddler, please those who have flown these airline I need review to make a decision, thank you .

I've used Turkish.. no issues whatsoever... my toddler was well taken care of both in meals and toys.. adding an infant is very easy as well; you will definitely be well taken care of and given a bassinet.

Turkish air is fine and really easy to add infant ticket not minding if you bought your ticket directly from them or used a travel agent

I feel your pain o @podada
What airport are you considering? Also many airlines have blocked out some dates for Promo fares around the festive season...departures before Dec 11 (or departures on Dec 25/26 Interstingly) should be relatively cheaper...

Accommodation - After my horrible experience living with a family friend during my last missionary journey, I decided to rent a one bedroom apartment via Airbnb. Paid $3,400 for 11 weeks. God blessed me with the most fantastic airbnb host ever. I can't sing her praises enough. She made sure I had everything I needed in the apartment to make me comfortable. She bought a dry mill blender so I could blend my banga and pepper soup spices, bought a bassinet for my baby, books and toys for my toddler daughter and a sweater for my mum when it got cold. She took me to my doctor appointments, to the hospital, passport appointment, shopping, sightseeing and then returned to pick me up afterwards when she could. She took me to pick my husband up from the airport when he arrived and even went to drop him when he was returning. Upon my departure, her car was too small to fit me and my countless bags so she rented a truck just so she could drop us off at the airport. At the airport, she helped with my bags and paid a trolley guy to move my bags to the check in area before leaving. All this she did at no extra cost to me. Even when I offered to buy her fuel for her car, she'd vehemently refuse and tell me I am spending enough already as it is. This is a total stranger o, oyibo woman at that. Someone I didn't know from Adam and had never met before. I was beyond amazed at her hospitality and generosity. She saved me a lot on transportation and made my trip a lot easier. She was simply amazing to my family and I. God bless her immensely!

Maybe she is the Aunty Favour many were looking for. I can imagine the joy in your heart for meeting her kind. I had a wonderful experience too with my host (not a paid accommodation). He helped with transportation (I refuse to drive his car) and our families feed together. I can't stop praying for the family and others that made journey splendid.

The weird part of life... you stay with "friends" and it's a nightmare, you stay with complete strangers and they jump hoops to please you, for little in return. Sometimes those we call "friends" are simply strangers in disguise.

You should probably pay a little extra for the exit row seats so you have more leg room

If you want to have them in your carry on luggage, then you have open and pour them in Ziploc bags

Yes, you can make noodles or wateva food your child will like, put in a small bowl.

Don't forget to carry diapers, wipes, drink eg ribena, extra clothes

Oh! airline is emirates! You will enjoy it! They are the most kids friendly airline smiley

Be careful ! You don't know who is who here!

To ease your boredom, go to memorial mall, galleria or the mall on westheimer (highway 6), spend the entire day..enter shops, feed your eyes and go home. You can also visit the zoo
