Good morning my lovely people, am new here and have been passing through serious health challenges, i really need ur advice. I had miscarriage on september dis yr, after that, my Dr refered me to scan which dictate some product of conception. Due to that, i had evacuation. But after the evacuation, my whole body system change, my period does flow normal, even that of last month drop for 3 days and stop. And and having serious waist, back and stomach ache. I went back to my Dr, he refered to scan and some other test. Other test dictate malaria n typhoid, why scan dictate fluid in my pelvic which doctor said its infection. So he started treatment on d 3, he even involve my husband on infection treatment. My problem now, i am taking 3 antibiotics(ciprotab, amoxicillin, metronidazole) orally, why am being given gentamycin injection, anytime i go to toilet, i stool blood, just have sex with my husband, still blood come out. Wt do i do? |

Humbleamanda: Please while taking the antibiotics get PROBIOTICS (its a supplement) or yoghurt with active live culture inscribe on the label.they contain good bacteria to help fight the bad bacteria. so you won't have further problems. Lastly before taking the PROBIOTICS discuss with your doctor but the yoghurt you don't need to. am not a doctor so ion know about the rest. may God give us good health. |

SamsonJohn743:They gave me ear drop. The doctor said it's usually caused by prolonged exposure to noise.I suspect mine is from music cos I used earpiece to play music for a long periods before it started. It has been around for like 3 months now.I don't take any medications,I used the ear drop for a very short period of time cos it didn't work for me.The only medication I have is that I've changed my mindset,I don't pay attention to it at all, belive me if u do same you'll start to get over it.However I think you should visit a doctor, our cases might be different. There's no known cure for tinnitus so far.Why feel suicidal since it doesn't at all stop ur hearing?Jst ignore it and feel normal,it disturbs u cos u think of it non-stop.But visit a doctor. |

Humbleamanda:One of the complications of evacuation is endometritis (infections) as in PID. That in itself can alter your menstrual pattern but it would usually come with some other symptoms as you mentioned. Again, when you experience a miscarriage, the body could take some time to find a new menstrual rhythm, in some it takes a few months, in others, 3-5months. For the issue of 'still seeing blood', its either there is still some remnants of the ppregnancy left inside or its due to the iinfection. I advice you see another doctor and get a 'second opinion' |

Justice28:They may not be fungal rashes, hence ketoconazole may not work to treat them. From your ddescription, they could be allergic dermatitis. For stuffs like this, its best if they are visualized as its difficult to just imagine the kinda rash. Or if you can get a clear pix across. |

JandyJ:I This may not be a straightforward something for which you need drugs. Sores in the mouth point to one thing, deficiency of B vitamins which also point to one thing: immunosuppression. By now I believe you have been treated and I hope you're doing fine. |

LayorAde:Lol, Seun doesnt pay any of us to baby sit the health section. Your symptoms point to migraine, esp tension headaches. Could also be a sign of an underlying condition, from as simple as malaria to some other big stuffs which i know you don't have . Anyways ,hope you have been treated. |

Good afternoon Doctors in the house. I really need help regarding treatment for scanty growth of staphylococcus aureus. I noticed my urine has this unusual smell. Went to the lab for urine culture and the above was the result. Read online how the infection seems resistant sometimes. Please help!! |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 2:09pm On Dec 14, 2017 |
Teewai1621:Altered menstrual pattern could be physiologic (normal) or pathologic (abnormal). For the abnormal, it could be due to untreated pelvic infections or any infection or illness in the body, even malaria. For the normal, it could be due to significant change in lifestyle such as fasting, mental stress, physical stress , distant travels , all in the past week or two preceding the menses. And yes ccould actually be a sign of ppregnancy, if you are sexually active. |

freedom96:Met a doctor and after the usual diagnostics he said the problem isn't from my ear but my nose, before it started i had a cold and a runny/blocked nose.still have the blocked nose. he said i have an eustuchian tube dysfunction(E.T is what connects the nose and the ear,one side is blocked so the sound) he prescribed nasal spray and some anti-histamine. The spray reduced the noise doe and i can only hear it when in a very quiet environment or when i think about it but i was told not to use it for more than five days. The sound is still here and i wish there are natural ways of making it go forever cux i don't want to take drugs anymore. |

shalomm: My advice :don't Google...if you do you'll read so many things that might make you depressed and worsened your situation. it happened to me and am still trying to get over the anxiety... Just try and make an appointment with a doctor in a specialist hospital if you have any closed to you. am sure its not that serious. |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by shalomm: 3:28pm On Dec 21, 2017 |
