'God is weeping over Donald Trump': Archbishop Desmond Tutu on Jerusalem move



Emeritus Desmond Tutu has condemned US President Donald Trump's decision to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

“Those who claim divine rights for themselves to physical property on earth are false prophets,” said Tutu.

“God is weeping over President Donald Trump's inflammatory and discriminatory recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. It is our responsibility to tell Mr Trump that he is wrong,” he added.

Meanwhile, The Israeli Embassy in Pretoria has welcomed Trump's decision.

The embassy’s spokesperson said it’s a step closer towards peace negotiations.

Deputy Head of Mission of Israel to South Africa, Ayellet Black, said: “Well ever since 1948, with a UN protection plan which we are now celebrating 70 years since the UN protection plan, Israel has always said Yes. It has said yes to the protection plan, it has said yes to every negotiation that came further while the Palestinian have continuously rejected such a notion. So here we are saying that this is the realisation of the obvious and that we are hoping that it will serve as a catalyst to re-install peace negotiations, to say we can sit at the table.”

“The obvious has already been put in place, the cards are on the table let’s have a conversation. Israel has always been open to dialogue and does not show away from a difficult conversation and we’ve placed many moves in the past to show that we are able to have long lasting peace agreements,” Black added.

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (Dirco) said it was in favour of a two-state solution for Palestine and Israel.

“South Africa maintains a principled position that unilateralism threatens the global balance of power, security and stability in a relatively volatile environment. International cooperation, dialogue and consultation is therefore critical to ensure peaceful interaction among states,” Dirco said in a statement.

“South Africa is deeply concerned that unilateral action by the United States undermines progress that has been registered within the context of Middle East Peace Process (MEPP). We believe that the MEPP seeks to secure a lasting sustainable peace between the State of Israel and the State of Palestine. The decision to relocate the US Embassy to East Jerusalem is regrettable and is not constructive in advancing a sustainable solution in the MEPP,” it added.

You are right, in that not everyone are Christians.But so too, everyone are'nt Muslims or so. But one thing is certain: there is a spiritual intelligence at play here. In fact, it is glaringly undeniable. The fact that many people don't agree with the Bible doesn't mean it shouldn't be referenced at all. Just as the Muslims would referenced their quoran, we Christians must go back to the Bible for backup on certain issues.

The Jews refusal to be relocated to Namibia in Africa, rather, chosen to settle where they presently belong, was in fact, foretold by prophecy.

Ezekiel 37:21-22, Jeremiah 16:14-15, and checkout the analogy below:

Ezekiel said the Jews were to be punished for 430 years because they had turned away from God. As part of the punishment, the Jews lost control of their homeland to Babylon. Many Jews were taken as captives to Babylon.

Babylon was later conquered by Cyrus in 539 BC. Cyrus allowed the Jews to leave Babylon and to return to their homeland. But, only a small number returned. The return had taken place sometime around 536 BC, about 70 years after Judah lost independence to Babylon.

Because most of the exiles chose to stay in pagan Babylon rather than return to the Holy Land, the remaining 360 years of their punishment was multiplied by 7. The reason is explained in Bible’s book of Leviticus. (Leviticus 26:18, Leviticus 26:21, Leviticus 26:24 and Leviticus 26:28). In Leviticus, it says that if the people did not repent while being punished, the punishment would be multiplied by 7. And, by staying in pagan Babylon, most exiles were refusing to repent.

So, if you take the remaining 360 years of punishment and multiply by 7, you get 2,520 years. But, Jeffrey says those years are based on an ancient 360-day lunar calendar. If those years are adjusted to the modern solar calendar, the result is 2,484 years.

And, there were exactly 2,484 years from 536 BC to 1948, which is the year that Israel regained independence.

From Biblical times, Israel had always shared borders with Syria and Lebanon. So, when the British put them back in that same spot in 1948, they were unknowingly acting on the script of a super spiritual intelligence.
